“Did business with these folks through their instagram account from accross the country!
I saw a product in one of their Reels that I had to have. I messaged their account directly through their inbox. They shared the store's venmo account, and the items were sent within two days, along with a tracking number being sent to my instagram account. Three days later, I had my new favorite knickknacks. I am one happy customer. The person I spoke to through the instagram account was very kind, and the things I got were super clean (which isn't always the case when you buy vintage!!!) And packaged very carefully with lots of bubble wrap. If you're not local but looking for unique wears, maybe give their account a peek!”

Emily and Laurel make the whole experience even better. They’re insanely knowledgeable, super helpful, and actually fun to be around. You can tell everyone there genuinely understands true vintage, the history, the details, and why certain pieces matter.
This is definitely not a store for someone who doesn’t get vintage. If you know, you know. Black Shag is for people who care about authenticity, quality, and thoughtful curation. Easily one of the best vintage shops out there.”
“Big turnaround. The management staff is well organized and they really explain what’s going on. Bobby , Christian , Elliot and the New black lady manager all are on point. They flood the store with new products every hour mostly on Monday through Friday. The weekends are more challenging but they have great pictures and furniture. The best outlet in Nashville or Tennessee I didn’t always feel this way but trust me it’s a treasure hunt daily.”

I start my new cna job I was spending my last on my uniform yall the lady bless me and only charged me 17 and I was wondering how I would eat. “First time in this Goodwill Store. Fairly busy on a late Saturday afternoon. Store was clean, well until I dropped a glass plate and broke it ! I cleaned up the mess and told the cashier what happened. It was all good. Prices seemed to be a little high, several items were not marked so you are at the mercy of the cashier.The staff was friendly. I would go back !”

“The owner of this shop helped me get on my feet again after some traumatic experiences. She hired me when no one else would and still remains a motherly figure to me 8 years later. If you don't like her it's probably cuz you were rude to her and she didn't take your crap, which is totally acceptable in today's world!! Treat her nicely and she will do the same :). She also works her ass off finding vintage pieces all over Nashville every day and ENSURES the authenticity of the items.”
