Raineys' Place Dog Groom Salon
3505 Woodbury Hwy, ManchesterWe have been bringing our poodles here for years. Lori keeps her appointments, she does her work in a competent and timely manner. Our dogs like her and are comfortable with her because she treats them gently and with true concern.
I recall only once when they had a medical problem and I took my dog to another groomer. The other groomer was late starting the appointment, took longer, did a less satisfactory job, and was more expensive.
In summary, Rainey's place is excellent. They will have my business as long as I have a pet that needs their care.

The Dog Parlor

Her cut is so nice, and the prices are really good as well. I am very pleased I found them. This will be who we regularly use for our dog, Harmony. The ladies were both helpful with my questions and very kind.

Hackett Animal Clinic
2027 McArthur Street, ManchesterMy old Belgian turned up with marbles under his chin. Doc Latham examined him an said we could put him through the discomfort of needle aspirations of the growths but she was fairly certain it was lymphatic cancer. She said there is chemo and radiation like foe humans but hugely expensive and same terrible side effects. She suggested we treat him with steroids to see if we can delay and give him a few more good months
When time came to put him down, she knew how badly I didn't want his final moments to be in the office he said massively dreaded. She was willing to come out to the back bed or my truck and do the deed out there where he was happiest. This also allowed his BFF to be there when he passed. Doc said it gives the canine companions closure.
I will never cease to appreciate the compassion of the entire office staff while I was going through the unbearable 'best friend executioner' horror. My embarrassing uncontrollable sobbing. It's been 4 years but I'm still choked to remember.
Some times the wait bc ya can't get an appropriate unless it's a surgery or diagnostic is pretty dang inconvenient. But the care and compassion you and your fur baby receive can't be matched

116 Winstead Ln, ManchesterFrom our very first phone call, we knew we had found the right place to board our dogs while we were out of town. We boarded all four of our dogs with them, and they answered all of our questions while also sharing helpful information we hadn’t thought to ask. Not once did we feel unsure—their positive attitude and energy are amazing.
Since our dogs had never boarded before, they suggested scheduling a doggie daycare day first so they could get comfortable. That way, instead of just dropping them off and leaving, they learned we would be coming back for them. We thought that was such a great idea.
When we picked them up, they were excited to see us—as expected—but we could tell they had a great time.
We will definitely be boarding with them again, especially with an upcoming trip in July.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience and for taking such great care of our four fur babies!

To think people can’t even take responsibility for an animal. It’s so sad. But it’s a very put together shelter. Unfortunately it’s an outdoor shelter too so the babies aren’t always out of the weather.
