In Pennsylvania, where it is made, it is a must for Philly cheesesteaks! I had not been to the store before and was impressed by how great this grocery store is! “Incredibly easy. The staff try to make the experience as care free as possible by being available for everything except having enough baggers. They obviously need at least one more person to do the job. The butcher and deli are well stocked, and the staff is more than capable.”
“This is our favorite Food City! The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive to their customers. Big shout out to the Deli for always keeping their homemade salads fresh and delicious. They have a wonderful spinach dip, that will keep you going back for more. We love getting local, fresh produce from our neighborhood grocery store. The staff in the meat department keep gourmet burgers readily available that make dinners after work super easy!”

Dan also has a VERY UPBEAT PERSONALITY which is also very hard to find in this day in time. Just wanna say your doing an AMAZING JOB at running this store I know you don't hear it anymore but you definitely deserve a HUGE pay raise for going above & beyond thank you for always having a smile it means ALOT to us!”
“I Absolutely love this gas station! I usually go every day after work and play the quarter machine for at least 5 to 10 minutes. After a long 12 hour day at work believe it or not playing the quarter game is so relaxing and sometimes rewarding with real money!”

This store also has a Walmart Academy in it, so you will often see employees from other locations who are here for various management training.”
“Been with food city pharmacy for a few years. Everyone at this location has been absolutely wonderful to me! Growing up in Maryville this town has sure grown a lot in the last few years. I know a lot people that get frustrated but try to put yourself in there shoes there dealing with everyone's bad attitudes & rudeness that comes along with working in the public eye.. but it doesn't mean YOU the person has to be just everyone else be KIND as you never know what someone maybe going through to hold it together! “HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!! I had to use the bathroom & walked in asked if there restroom was working the lady says there is 2 ahead of you I've only got 1 bathroom working the other 1 is down. I gave 5 stars because even though there was only 1 bathroom working it was the CLEANEST I've EVER SEEN!!!And I've been in a lot of dollar generals but none compared to this one. SO KEEP UP THE GREAT WORKING YOU GUYS ARE DOING A AWESOME JOB!!!! ??”
“My children and I were in this store a couple days ago while we were on vacation and had an interaction with 2 of the young ladies who were quick to help us find the items we were looking for. The young lady who was putting up stock on the floor, stopped what she was doing immediately and greeted us with a smile and helped us complete our shopping trip. I came back in and asked their names and positions and she said her name is Maria (she’s the new assistant manager) and the other lady is Amanda (I believe she’s a lead sales ) . This will be my go to store when we visit Tennessee as long as these girls are still here! Excellent customer service !”
“My review below was when the male manager was at this store. I made a trip here today and Dollar General now has a lady named Gidget as the new store manager. I now give the store a 5 star rating, she is super friendly, a great personality and makes sure you are finding what you need. Thank you to the upper management for seeing this store needed someone like her to make a go at this location. I have made this store my go to store again because she treats you with respect!I used to like this store but they have changed the staff and they lost a customer today by not waiting on me. I actually went yesterday, the shelves were empty and the carts loaded with stock to put up were sitting all over the store in the aisles. No room to get down some of the aisles. Today I went to pick up 1 item, the boss was busy putting up stock, walked up and saw me at the counter but never offered to wait on me. I put my item back and made the commit they just lost a customer. They messed up when they lost those friendly ladies they did have there.”
