“I drove from downtown Knoxville, where I work, to go here and get Cooper Sharp White American Cheese. It’s the only place in our area that carries this delicious treat! In Pennsylvania, where it is made, it is a must for Philly cheesesteaks! I had not been to the store before and was impressed by how great this grocery store is! And super super awesome people that work there! I wish we had one in West Knoxville…”

“We recently visited the Florist there at Food City Seymour. It was a hard time for our family and the Florist made the process so easy and comfortable. When we went into the mortuary upon 1st viewing, we were astounded at the beauty of the Coffin Blanket. The flowers were the prettiest I've ever seen. Everyone was astonished at their beauty.

“This is our favorite Food City! The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive to their customers. Big shout out to the Deli for always keeping their homemade salads fresh and delicious. They have a wonderful spinach dip, that will keep you going back for more. We love getting local, fresh produce from our neighborhood grocery store. The staff in the meat department keep gourmet burgers readily available that make dinners after work super easy!”
“OH MY STARS — LEE ANN IS A NATIONAL TREASURE HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT AT DOLLAR GENERAL.
I walked in needing toilet paper and a pack of gum. I walked out with a soul HEALED. Lee Ann didn’t just ring up my items — she rang the bell of hope and humanity in my weary heart. A line 7 people deep? She destroyed it like a checkout ninja, scanning with such speed and grace you'd think she trained with NASA. Someone dropped a jar of pickles? She caught it mid-air, I SWEAR. Babies stopped crying. Birds outside started harmonizing. A light beamed down from above.
She’s not just a Dollar General employee — SHE IS DOLLAR GENERAL. The general of dollars. The commander of deals. The warrior of good customer service. You walk into her aisle? You walk into the presence of LEGEND.

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!! I had to use the bathroom & walked in asked if there restroom was working the lady says there is 2 ahead of you I've only got 1 bathroom working the other 1 is down. I gave 5 stars because even though there was only 1 bathroom working it was the CLEANEST I've EVER SEEN!!!And I've been in a lot of dollar generals but none compared to this one. “My children and I were in this store a couple days ago while we were on vacation and had an interaction with 2 of the young ladies who were quick to help us find the items we were looking for. The young lady who was putting up stock on the floor, stopped what she was doing immediately and greeted us with a smile and helped us complete our shopping trip. I came back in and asked their names and positions and she said her name is Maria (she’s the new assistant manager) and the other lady is Amanda (I believe she’s a lead sales ) . This will be my go to store when we visit Tennessee as long as these girls are still here! Excellent customer service !”
“My review below was when the male manager was at this store. I made a trip here today and Dollar General now has a lady named Gidget as the new store manager. I now give the store a 5 star rating, she is super friendly, a great personality and makes sure you are finding what you need. Thank you to the upper management for seeing this store needed someone like her to make a go at this location. I have made this store my go to store again because she treats you with respect!I used to like this store but they have changed the staff and they lost a customer today by not waiting on me. I actually went yesterday, the shelves were empty and the carts loaded with stock to put up were sitting all over the store in the aisles. No room to get down some of the aisles. Today I went to pick up 1 item, the boss was busy putting up stock, walked up and saw me at the counter but never offered to wait on me. I put my item back and made the commit they just lost a customer. They messed up when they lost those friendly ladies they did have there.”
“Although smaller than the other newer dollar generals, I come here b/c of the cashiers. I wish I knew both day shift ladies names, but they are exactly what customer service should be. Kind and helpful. They are so friendly and always in a good mood. Raises for this store!!”
“This DG location is one of the nicest I have been in. Outside was clean. The shelves were stocked and there was no merchandise sitting out in the aisles on carts waiting to be stocked. They had a large selection of refrigerated and frozen items. The store was clean and well organized. I was bragging on the store to an employee named Laney, she said they work hard to keep the store stocked. In Manchester, TN, we have a DG in the Food Lion parking lot and the floors look like they have not been mopped since the store opened. Merchandise is out in the aisles and one time I went in and milk and other refrigerated items were sitting in the middle of the floor. The entire store is in disarray. So, I appreciate a nice, clean, organized and stocked DG.”
