The New Memphis Building, also known as the Emerge Building, is a historic landmark and premier destination located downtown in the Historic South Main Arts District, close to the newly developed riverfront. This handsomely converted 1910 factory offers unique office and event spaces, featuring refinished wood floors, exposed wood beams, square columns, and brick walls for an industrial chic atmosphere. It provides private office spaces from 200 to 6,000 square feet within a community of entrepreneurs, artists, and small business owners, creating a community feel with common areas. The venue is an amazing and beautiful place to host events large and small, including weddings, photoshoots, business events, and non-profit meetings. Spaces are very large, well-appointed, and suitable for any occasion, with a favorite being the large, rectangular Tristar Space filled with natural light. The building also includes a rooftop deck with views of the Mississippi River and downtown Memphis, which makes the space even more fun. A great coffee shop and place to grab food, Big River Market, is located on the first floor. The staff is helpful, easy to communicate with, and very kind, providing great support.
