“Although this store may mot have everything I need when I need it for me and my four girls, the cashier or staff (usually the same guy) is always extremely helpful with assisting me to the best of his abilities in way he can to make my shopping experience the best it can be....as long as he stays employed me and my small family will always be repeat customers. P.S. I do not know the cashier's name but he mainly works second shift”
“This location is the cleanest, most organized and well stocked DGS I have ever visited. The staff is friendly and helpful which in this day and age is rare. There were no boxes, crates, etc blocking the isles. While shopping there was an elderly lady that had come back into the store looking for her cell phone. One of the Employees went above and beyond to help her try to find its location with her. It was sweet to see a younger generation helping the older. I was in the store on 7/8/24 around 1pm. Idk the names of the Employees that were working that day/ time but they deserve a huge KUDOS! I did tell the cashier how pleased I was with the cleanliness, etc but definitely wanted to take the time to leave a great review here as well.”

I was surprised by the variety of products they had, from household items to cute seasonal decorations. “This Dollar General Store is conveniently located less than a half mile from my home. So we frequently visit this location. We will visit for something as small as a pack of batteries, dog food, or as big as picking up a few groceries. On average, we visit about 3 to 4 times a week. The employees are consistently very professional, friendly, and helpful. I have never had any employees at this location ever be rude or unwilling to assist me. They are ALWAYS busy with stocking the store, assisting customers, or cleaning. I can't recall a time that I have went into this store and saw an employee just standing around doing nothing. Yet I have never been made to feel like I was bothering them whenever they had to stop what they were doing to help me. The store is like any other Dollar General. It always has inventory in the aisles, but it is never just left there. Someone is always working on stocking. This store is probably one of the better Dollar General Stores that is kept orderly as much as possible and 99.999% of the time has the products that I am going there to purchase in stock. Unlike Walmart, who has become notorious for being out of stock on the majority of products. If this Dollar General is out of stock on an item, it is usually because the company that produces it doesn't have it and not because Dollar General isn't good at inventory management. For example, we buy Purina Dog Chow Savory Beef flavor dry dog food. We always purchase it at Dollar General. However, in the past year, we have had trouble finding it. Even at Dollar General. But this is because Purina isn't sending it to the stores. Not because DG isn't handling their inventory levels. Also, the prices are pretty competitive. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they don't accept manufacturer's coupons. I'm not sure why they decided not to do so, but I think this is a bad business decision. But with that said, you do receive a $5.00 off coupon on $25 or more from the store every time you shop that can be used on the following Saturday on any regular priced items in the store. I think that helps offset the no manufacture coupon policy a little bit.”

“My husband is the store manager & he works very hard to please all of his customers! He works 6 days out of 7 and will dig threw his stock room if you can’t find what your needing! He is a nice guy & will be be glad to help JUST ASK HIM. His store is the cleanest I have seen in Chattanooga, every store is understaffed or have some out of stock but I promise his store is the one your gonna be most pleased with! Check for yourself!”
“Normally use this store. It's been the cleanest and friendliest one in the area for a long time. Went in yesterday and was very disappointed in the condition of the store. Products strewn all over the floor in every isle. Many shelves bare, messy, and covered with packaging trash. This was not due to a pandemic or weather related event. This was not due to holiday restocking. Hoping they are just temporarily short handed and will recover soon....??”
