“Convenience at its best. You can get a discount on gas with the points you earn by shopping at FoodCity. On Wednesdays you can double that discount. Every little bit helps.”

“As much as I love this gas station-it would be great to have the option of someone there to pump my gas. I’m happy to pay extra. Greatest prices and FREE air. I paid $4. In Va to air up 3 tires.♥️⛽️”

“Lovely store. Everyone is so friendly and nice. I work at a gas station myself, so I know how irritating people can be.There was a person in line in front of me when we came in on a road trip, and I was getting a little annoyed myself because this person kept asking tons of different questions. The worker asked them to step aside because a line was building up and helped the line first.Best way to do it.Also an amazing stop for people on the road! Hot food, tons of snacks, drinks, etc.Definitely worth a stop.”

“This is hands down my favorite convenience store! My sister and I love coming here because the staff here really are the best—they're so nice and friendly and they really go above and beyond for their customers! It’s rare to find a place where they know exactly what you need. Patriot Fuels in Gate City really is the GOAT! (For those who don't know, GOAT stands for Greatest Of All Time!)”

“I Love this market. They even have a pharmacy drive thru! U can even order online and pick up here! The Walmart gas station is very busy. You might have to wait in line for a while.”

“Stopped to fuel up on the scenic route I took. Went in to use the restroom. Big store. Restroom pretty clean. Store was clean. Many options to pick from. Typical convenience store except for the fact the young lady working was definitely easy on the eyes and had an absolutely great attitude and personality.”

“Broke down on Lynn garden drive so they towed my car here. Had me fixed and back on the road the next day. Super good dude. Since then I refer everyone there for their car issues. Will be going back for more myself this coming Monday. Fair pricing and great work.”

“I really like this Exxon. Great prices on fuel. Clean parking lot. There's a field beside the station where I take my dog to run around and stretch her legs and do her business. The store inside is clean. Employee are friendly for the most part.”

“I don't keep regular places, but I make an exception for this station. The daytime staff are exceptionally friendly, and it's always pleasant to see them on my breaks.”

“Thank you Rebecca in the Floral Department. Rebecca was extremely helpful and patient with our family while choosing flowers for a casket spray. The only other florist that was open on December 23 was Holston which refused to provide their service. The floral arranger was too tired to assist us with my husband's mother's casket spray. Then Rebecca at Food City was happy to help us. She was extremely busy but took her time with us. The spray was beautiful. Thank you Rebecca for your kindness and for arranging such a beautiful spray for us. We are forever grateful.”

“Best gas station convenient store in Carter's valley.Owner truly cares about his neighbor's as we call each other. They only have 87 non-ethanol and 87 ethanol fuel.Tried to get him to carry diesel fuel but he doesn't have the tanks for it.Has a decent Beer Cave and a good selection of tobacco/vape productsIf you are a regular and they don't have what you want the owner will get it for you if he can. They've done a TV raffle a couple times each year during the holidays for the past few years.”
2512 Sullivan Gardens Pkwy, Kingsport TN 37660
“Fast Lane is by far the best gas station this side Kingsport. The ladies that work for Andy are all friendly and kind whether you're a regular or not. The ice cream cooler as soon as you walk in has the coldest ice creams in town. Period. My favorites are the fudge bars and the orange creamsicles. I can't find them anywhere else. The fact that they stay open until midnight Monday-Saturday is great. And unlike Zoomerz, which often locks their doors 15-20 minutes early, the ladies at Fast Lane actually keep the doors unlocked until their actual posted closing time. Another plus: they offer cash back on debit card purchases!”

“I had to stop and get gas with my small daughter this morning. Not only was the store clean but the cashier that checked me out was the best one I've had in a long time! The gentleman was so patient and courteous! He did a great job! It's hard to find a smiling face in the morning especially early. So I'm very pleased with the customer service!”
1673 Fort Henry Dr, Kingsport TN 37664
“Very nice & helpful staff. The guys working tonight on 9/18/2025 @9pm deserve a raise or a good bonus. This gas station couldn't ask for better employees. I should have gotten their names.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

The truck stop company will upgrade its stores through its Strategic Remodel Initiative, which started in 2022. Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
