“My experience at this place was when I was 3 and 4 years old. That was back in the late 60's and early 70's. I remember this place very vividly for some odd reason I can very well remember going there with my parents and Mr Mcgee giving me a lollipop. My parents would buy groceries on time. Roy and Wilma Jean Davis. They would sign a ledger and pay when they could. I've often wondered if the place was still there and how long my parents were going there before I was even born. I'm in Houston now and my parents have since passed but this place has been a memory that just stays with me. Glad to know it's still going. Jim Mcgee Grocery. Excellent!”

“The selection was impressive, and I was able to find most of the items I needed. However, when I got home and checked my receipt, I realized I was charged an extra $15 for 3 different items I didn’t purchase. While it was frustrating, I acknowledge it was my own oversight for not double-checking the receipt before leaving the store. Despite this issue, the store itself had a great atmosphere, and I’ll likely return in the future with more attention to detail.”

“Recently moved to area..from Florida..where we shop Publix..great chain..well run..always very clean..!! This store has been the closest to that standard..so far..!! Tried Food Land..Food City..Kroger..wasn't impressed by any of those..!! Will be our new go to store..!! Side note..the employees..BLAH..not a smile in the place..and zero personality..at least the 5 times we have been in there..”

I am an Instacart shopper so I’ve seen 10+ food cities, And this has to be the grossest I’ve ever seen. I’ve even talked to the manager and they just completely ignore me. I don’t understand how the health department turns the blind eye to this”

“Food City is great for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any time in between. They have great food as well as a wonderful wine selection if you prefer. They also have breakfast & supper plates with hot and ready food you can order throughout the day. Stop in! They open early. I recommend getting the Potato Salad.”
“The staff has always been very kind & patient with me. I'm very indecisive. And I usually spend a good while walking through the store. But the doesn't try to rush me, or anything like that. And their responses are always decent. I'm AuDHD, with APD, so I tend to struggle with busy places. Yet they are always understanding, at this Priceless Foods Store.”

“This market is the best market around. My buddy Hameesh (also spelled Hamish or हामिश) and his family run the store and act as the cashiers for the store. It all started when a friend of mine invited me to visit his home. We decided to walk to the Ridgefields Market and visit the cashier that I had been told many lovely tales about. After my encounter with Hameesh, I had to assume that all of those stories were true. The reason why I believe this place deserves a 5-star rating is because of Hameesh's unbelievable kindness and honesty. When we talk to him and ask about the items in his store, he gives the most charming smile and tells us intriguing details about his products. There was a time where in a transaction, I did not have enough change to fully pay for the item, but Hameesh's purity came in clutch, and decided that we did not have to pay for all of it, but that he would cover it instead. Ridgefields Market. I love you. Hameesh/Hamish/हामिश. I love you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for that life changing experience.”
“This place is like a bunch of stores and hot and cold bar and bakery all wrapped up in one, you can get a hot breakfast, cold breakfast, hot lunch, cold lunch and dinner at this place and there is seating area to enjoy your meal! “I would like to let Hawkins County know the manager on duty Friday Morning, August 27, 2024 is totally awesome ? ? Due to the storm that hit on that morning, the roof was tore off our mobile home, it peeled the roof like a banana!! The manager gave us the money to buy tarps to cover our belongings, my roommate and I are both on SS and very low income. The manager was extremely nice and sympathetic to our situation and we were blessed that she was working at that time. Give them your business, they definitely deserve it!”
“I go to the Dollar General a few times a week. I don't always go to this location as there are many others in the area. However this location has become my go to. This is the newest Dollar General that I know of within the surrounding area. This is considered one of their bigger stores, as they carry more stock than others. The workers are helpful and kind 99.9% of the time. They have new deals every week that you can view online or in a few weekly sales paper issues that are free and in view when your walk in. They accept cash, credit/debit , and SNAP/EBT. The only thing I can think of that might effect people is if the right item is a good deal that week they will probably sell out. For example last week they had 2-liter Mellow Yellows for $0.85 cents a piece. I went to 4 different Dollar General stores, but all were sold out.”

“Just left the store and had to acknowledge the employee who rang me up. The date is 6/2/2023 and the time was about 8:50 pm. Didn't get her name but I think she's new because I haven't seen her in there before. Absolutely the most friendly, outgoing person I've ever dealt with in a retail store. Dollar General would do itself a great service if they hired a hundred more like her. Kudos to that young lady and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves as I'm not easily impressed with most people.”
