“this is the first time I have been in here for a very long time. I didn't know they were still open. went to use their post office which is fantastic. Great parking, wheel chair access. no line at the post office, they personally answer the phone, have all the post office supplies that you may need. very clean. definitely a plus with the memorial post office in such disarray. if you have time there is a place to sit and have coffee etc. we'll for sure be using them in the future. located close to Elders Ace hardware. Love the savings at the pump with my Kroger plus card, easy to acquire instore, even if you don't shop there, but also well stocked, yummy deli items, great meat and seafood selections, not available everywhere‼️ In my opinion, the only setback to the fuel center is they have NO available restroom, FOR THE PUBLIC, who spend in excess of $50 for a full up, in excess of $100 if you buy cigarettes, and take advantage of the phone card offers? Sorry, but a gas station should offer a public restroom for customers❣ just my opinion ?”

“I'm not a big Walmart fan, but this store is my only exception. It's always clean, organized, well staffed, and well managed. The pharmacy department is very accessible and organized. The staff is always friendly, helpful and prompt. The pharmacists have personally called me on more than one occasion to follow up and make sure I was okay. They have absolutely gone above and beyond for me, consistently. If you're looking for a new home pharmacy, I recommend this one for the staff alone. And the pharmacy is nearer to the door than any other Walmart in town, making quick stops incredibly convenient. I switched pharmacies from Kroger years ago because of their awful long wait times, apathetic staff, and communication errors. I haven't regretted the change for a split second since! I get all of my prescriptions here except for compounded medications and prescriptions sent after hours. And only because I can't get them here! They are wonderfully prompt, passionate about customer service, and professional.”

“This is a good Sam's Club location. I can definitely say it's better than the one in Antioch (trash in their parking lot), and is comparable to the one in Franklin. As you already know the parking lot is huge, and there's plenty of spaces available all year. There is a concern when it gets busy, especially on a sunny weekend or the week of a holiday. It has a gas station. What I like about this Sam's is that the gas prices are the lowest in the area. As for other areas, I use many of the services they offer. There is the tire shop, the TV section, the Membership desk, Groceries, and the gas station. The tire shop is pretty good. I've ordered tires and a couple of batteries. I like their service because of the warranty offered. I had a battery go bad within the standard warranty period, and Sam's honored the manufacturer's warranty. I'm talking about one week before the end of warranty. AMAZING! This is for both batteries and tires! Then I bought a couple of flat screens on sale. The price was so low, I bought two of them! Yada, yada, service. I can't comment on the smiling bit, but many times I don't see if they are forcing their smiles or not. In my opinion, I'm not paying for their smiles. I go to the Sam's for the bulk purchases, and good deals. If the employee smiles, it's just icing on the cake. Now to the part I don't like. I don't like it when they let their trash pile up at the gas station. At the end of their shifts, I saw the attendant use a shopping cart to carry all of the trash out there. How do I know if the cart, I'm using, was used to carry the trash? This was also the case at the cafe area. They let the trash overflow. Sometimes there's not enough workers to take the trash out and replace the trash bag. Ugh! Another thing in the cafe, the ratio of syrup to water is really low. This is what they do to "save" money. Yet the soda really just tastes like colored water. Bleh! In summary, they are good in most of their services. I like their tire shop, the groceries, gas-station, and electronics. They are lacking in their sanitation and some things in their cafe. But for the most part, I like this location.”

Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
