“We visited this location of Dick’s Sporting Goods on Saturday, February 21 around noon, and had an absolute 10/10 experience.
One of their associates, a gentleman by the name of Kelly spent a full 20+ minutes with us walking through everything first-year baseball parents need — what to purchase, how to break in gear, and the best options at every price point so we didn’t feel pressured or upsold. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and generous with his time. Did not miss a detail!
What truly stood out to me was how he handled our two rowdy boys. He was calm, kind, and never once made us feel rushed — and that spoke VOLUMES. I work in a service-driven industry myself, and I was beyond impressed by how he went above and beyond.
The shoe department (honestly, the entire store) was incredibly busy, but the associates there were also friendly, knowledgeable, and walked us through everything smoothly. Even without getting their names, they deserve recognition — the process was seamless despite the crowd.
