This was my first visit in a couple of years and wow! A lot has changed! The staff has always had great customer service but, where many DGs fall short, the store was very well stocked, neat and clean. Especially the restroom. I am 36 weeks pregnant, and am supposed to be on bed rest after several times of pre-term labor. My father had an emergency last week and was in the hospital, had several surgeries, and was just released today. I was attempting to get him all the things he needs so I could finally rest, and dollar general was my last errand to get some distilled water for his cpap machine. The shelves were empty. They had clearly just gotten in a truck and had carts of merchandise everywhere. An associate, Don, asked if I needed assistance, and went to hunt for it elsewhere. We finally found several bottles at the very bottom of a cart underneath lots of heavy things. I didn’t want him to go fishing for me, I offered to run to the next one up the road, but Don cheerfully tore down the cart full of heavy stuff just to get me the one bottle I needed for my dad. I was working really hard to cover it up, but I was nearly in tears as I stood there in pain having contractions. I’ve been to this store a million times and I’ve never seen Don before, so I’m presuming he’s new, but he is by far the best employee I’ve ever encountered in a Dollar General. I really hope you guys can give him the recognition he deserves, bc he definitely did not have to do the things that he did and went above and beyond to help me.”

“I would have preferred to leave 4.5 stars since my only complaint with this store is that the things I need aren't always in stock (given the great prices, I guess it isn't that surprising). I shop here about once a month for household cleaners, some food items and office supplies. I have always been very happy with the quality of items I've purchased - value for money can't be beaten. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. They're always adding new items, which makes it fun to shop here. I've seen more items over the $1.25 price on the shelves recently, which didn't entirely surprise me, but I haven't bought any of them yet - I come here for the great bargains, so I've stuck to the $1.25 items. The parking lot can get a bit busy, so drive in slowly and be careful crossing towards the store, as it right at the intersection of the entrance to this shopping center.”

“They don't have a phone line anymore like most Dollar generals because it isn't covered by the company and it distracts employees from work but you can see when you go in that the employees are always ready to help when needed even if they've been working hard for hours”

“Current crew young guys and one woman are way nicer and more helpful than the four that worked there before.
