“Both courses have good layouts and are in generally good shape. The pro shop staff is friendly and accommodating. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the pace of play was painfully slow (5.5 hour round) and the marshals weren't doing a darn thing about it. I've been playing here for 25 years, and it is getting busier and busier. Great problem to have as a course, but you need to keep the pace of play in the 4.5 hour range.”

“Repeat guest here!! The Russell is my favorite place to stay in Nashville! Such a beautiful hotel with the best amenities! I stayed in The Penthouse with an amazing view of the stained glass window! So I highly recommend this room! It also has a bath tub which is very relaxing!”

“A unique boutique hotel in the heart of East Nashville! Just minutes from downtown, the cozy, quirky “high-design” hotel built in a 100-year old church has everything you need for a night or a week. Artsy colors and uniquely designed fixtures give this hotel a cool vibe compared to your regular cookie-cutter people houser.

Lots of little freebie snacks and waters in the room and a tv with tons of channels. The place was neat and super clean with shampoo, soap and fluffy towels and a great mattress.”

“Highly recommend staying here. Rooms were clean and nice. Monica was extra amazing, friendly and had great personality. I would assume she’s the owner the way she treats the operation. Can’t beat it for the price!”

“I can't say enough good things about my experience at this property!

Beautiful clean hotel, friendly service and quick resolution to my questions (for the mobile key to operate the elevator the back of the phone must be flat against the key reader)! We had a high floor corner room and the view from the floor to ceiling windows from the bed and from the shower were breathtaking any time of day. Requests for both early check-in and late checkout were granted during this slower time of year.

The executive lounge for status members is top notch. Great coffee and snacks all day, the breakfast (we went on Sunday) was huge including eggs, hot meats, multiple pastries and charcuterie. The hor d'oeuvres Saturday evening (5-7pm) almost could have been a full meal if we didn't have dinner reservations upstairs for 2 hours later!

Lobby bar was quiet and service was quick. It is permitted to leave the bar with a drink as long as it stays in the building.

Valet was fast and professional. Loved that we could text them before leaving the room so the car was ready by the time we checked out!”

“We stayed for one night and had a wonderful experience. Didn’t particularly like the fact that we either had to pay for the valet or pay to park across the street, but I guess that’s what you get in the heart of Nashville. The room was incredibly clean (I’m picky about that), smelled nice (picky about this too), and the staff was very kind. The experiences that I’ve read previously regarding rude staff must have been addressed, because we were greeted and treated with the utmost respect and kindness. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“I rarely write reviews for valet service, but Talvin and Winston at the W Hotel absolutely deserve the shout-out. From the moment I pulled up for a big job interview, they greeted me with the warmest, most genuine smiles and immediately put me at ease—something I really needed that day!

When I returned to pick up my car after the interview, they remembered me, asked how it went, and took a real interest in the conversation. Talvin and Winston were both so positive and encouraging, ending with a big “Hopefully we’ll see you again soon!” It was such a thoughtful touch that turned a routine valet experience into something genuinely memorable.

Professional, fast, careful with my car, and—most importantly—incredibly kind and personable. These two are the gold standard for hospitality and a huge reason why the W feels so welcoming. Thank you, Talvin and Winston—you guys made my day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We went for a weekend. We showed up before check In and they checked us into the hotel quickly. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine since it was my birthday. The rooms were clean. You are by the train but we didn’t hear it at all but we also were on a top floor. The location was great. Only a 6 minute walk to all the bars. Would definitely revisit.”

“Great place to stay very clean all staff were so helpful and took care of everything Vi was great at check in and out. Scott helped with our luggage. Thank you for a great first time visit. We will be back. ?”

“VERY fun décor and tons of photo opportunities! Space was GREAT for our bachelorette party. I would have appreciated responses to my questions via Airbnb or text messages. I had asked a question (1hr early check in to decorate) prior to check-in and received a partial response about a week later. Then again, asked a question about check-out and where to store our luggage since this was offered (thankfully), but never received a response. I had asked the questions about 24hours or more before checkout. There was no front desk to ask for assistance, and the phone number listed in the info binder also did not yield a response. We got lucky that we checked out on a Monday and found someone in the building to help us. The only other items were not deal breakers but kind of odd were all the different communication/check-in methods outside of Airbnb where we booked the rental. I think I had Airbnb, Maddox emails, and also a check in app, which made it kind of confusing. Overall the experience was positive. Would recommend!
Tip to future renters who have never used an induction stove top, the pots/pans are required to head the tops. The email I received about this was sent on a Friday at 4pm, when check in was prior to that and NOT from the booking site so it was missed. Luckily we figured it out later. ?”

“Great place to stay! Close enough to walk to downtown if you wanted. It was quiet even though it was next to the interstate, literally would not have known there was an interstate if we didn't get off said interstate right there. You do have to pay for parking in their parking lot but wasn't horrible. Everything is communicated via text message, they are very responsive!”

“I do not love staying near the airport; however, we appreciate having this option if we have to do so! Love the Drury, and the rooms here are always clean and comfortable, with amenities as advertised. Service always good.”

“I absolutely loved this place! My daughter said she had a punch of fun so she is gonna review it. The hotel was so perfect. I was there for a volleyball tournament and I couldn't be happier about the service. Me and my friends would go to the lobby for things we need and the worker was so nice. His name was Manny and he is an amazing employee. Very caring, kind, and generous. He gave us the best experience. He would keep us company and went above and beyond to make our hotel experience ever! I would definitely go back because of Manny. I love this place!”

“Staying at the Fairlane was one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. We are locals but lost power to our house for a week from the ice storm. From the minute I called in to check on availability, the entire staff was unfailingly kind, friendly, and helpful. They did everything possible to accommodate us and make a rough week bearable. They are very pet friendly as well. The location is great: it is downtown but has a good buffer from Broadway which can be a bit hectic. The room and amenities were all nice. There are many great restaurants within a short walk, including the restaurant downstairs. I'm so glad we found the Fairlane and would recommend it to anyone.”

“Wonderful accommodations and venue, close to the Spark and to the all of the experiences of downtown/Broadway, and we were able to get our of the busyness in order to rest.
Highly recommend the Bobby!”

“We had the best experience at the hotel indigo. They had live music every evening down in their lobby/bar area and after the artist's set, printers ally was right around the corner to keep the party going. The drinks were delicious and the appetizers were amazing, highly recommend their pretzel. The staff was exceptional as well. The hostess Lori helped us out so much with restaurant recommendations and even assisted making a few calls to try to secure reservations for us. Thank you Lori if you're reading this! Don't even bother looking for other hotels. This one is it!”

“We went here during the weekend for our church event for Lads to Leaders. It was very nice, but this place is like a maze if you haven’t been here. Rooms are very nice, especially if you get a room with a nice view. The service is very good especially security, my daughter scrapped her knee and reopened her wound and security was very voice and detailed about the situation. They even followed up with a phone call to make sure my daughter was ok. The food there looks and smells amazing, we had pizza for lunch one day. I only gave it a four star because it is very expensive here. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.”

“I was in Nashville, TN recently for a convention at Gaylord Opryland and chose this hotel as it was very close to the convention. I had a great stay here and the front desk staff, Crissi, was helpful. She helped me get a King Suite when I had only booked for a standard King room. I was there for 6 days and the bigger room certainly helped. The other staff was kind and helpful as well and honored by request for a pretty late checkout. The only thing I would like to see improved is a little variety in the breakfast options. I had breakfast only on weekdays and it was exactly the same. For a longer stay, that gets pretty monotonous and would prefer to have some variety there. The other thing was I spotted a spider's web over the bed. This is the second time I am noticing this at a Holiday Inn Express and may need to be looked at. BTW, I loved the towel decor, there were quite a few throughout the room. Thank you!”

“Had a GREAT weekend in Nashville at the Renaissance! It was our anniversary weekend and we had a wonderful time. So much to see and do within a short walking distance. The destination fee got us a daily food/drink credit, tickets to the Jonny Cash museum, and free flights at Nashville Barrel Distillery. And the staff surprised us with a split of rose wine and half a dozen of chocolate covered strawberries!! Such a sweet gesture ??. Many thnx to them.”

“We picked Holston House due to it's proximity to the nightlife Nashville has to offer. Upon arrival, the Valet guys were EXTREMELY helpful. I cannot say enough about them.Check-In was easy and they accommodated us with early check in for a $50 fee. The lobby was decorated amazing and it smelled SO good. The room was okay, not worth the price in my opinion, HOWEVER, the hotel being walking distance to Broadway was the biggest seller here. Bed was comfortable, could definitely use new pillows. The breakfast spot was delish, over all hotel/restaurant service was great, Rooftop, although closed, was STUNNING. We will make sure to visit during the warmer months to utilize this amenity. Would definitely stay here again given the chance!Nearby activities: Steps from Broadway, all within walking distance.”

“Nevermind the distance from the city. This is what a hotel experience should be like. Very clean, very quiet, very close to local shopping and eateries. Very attentive and friendly staff. And Brianna... World-class customer service with a smile and makes a MEAN lemon drop. Seriously, it's like lemonade Kool-aid for adults. This is the only spot I plan to make reservations at anytime I visit Nashville for an overnight trip.”

“I love talking with front desk, she recommend me place to go, what to eat , and things to do. I love them all. Great experience here accept our room close to a staff room, so many people talking in early morning but it was okay not the bad.”

“My wife and I are locals in Nashville and were displaced during the 2026 ice storm. We reached out to the hotel and they were very accommodating! Antoinette, Elijah and Carla went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Especially Antoinette, she was friendly, thorough and patient. The whole team was amazing! Thank you so very much. We'll definitely be back.”

“I was fortunate enough to stay at this hotel for two weeks due to the ice storm causing power outages and as I was waiting to purchase my new home in the area. I wish to post my appreciation for the hospitality of the entire staff as well as the wonderful variety of food prepared by Chef Randy. He did a marvelous job of providing very tasty dishes every day.
I highly recommend this location!”

“Everything was so clean. Beds and pillows were wonderful. Very comfortable. They have a super cute coffee/breakfast spot down below called Dawn that was delicious. So sad I didn’t have time to check out the little bar off to the side of Dawn, but the fire pits surrounding it were absolutely adorable. Great location. Like a 12 minute walk from the Ryman. Passed Bridgestone arena otw, so even shorter walk for that. 10/10 would stay again.”
