“5 Stars (All thanks to Pharamacist Jacob! I recently got married and switched to my husband’s insurance, and getting everything transferred has been a total hassle. I went in on a needing refills, pretty clueless about what was going to work since my new cards still hadn’t arrived and the old coverage was gone. Jacob was amazingly patient with me. He took the time to listen, and help me figure out if my insurance was applied yet. He looked up every possible discount program, and walked me through what was available right then. He never rushed me or made me feel dumb for not understanding the process. Which I appreciate as I was already embarrassed that I didn’t know anything about my new insurance besides the Id numbers. Thanks to him, he found a great discount that dropped the price way lower than I expected. He was kind, calm, and genuinely wanted to help. People like Jacob are the reason I’ll keep coming back to this Walgreens. More workplaces need employees this patient and caring! I pray Jacob gets the recognition for his amazing customer service that he deserves!”

“I stopped here while making a road trip between Georgia and Kentucky. The restroom was clean and properly stocked, always something I'm looking for in a quick road trip stop! Additionally, the cashier I interacted with was friendly and efficient in completing my transaction. My needs for this sort of stop are basic, yet far too many gas stations/ convenience stores completely fail to meet even the most basic expectations. Weigel's did a great job, and I'd definitely stop here again!”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
