“My husband and I worked with Donovan and he did a fantastic job. My husband and I had some differences of opinion on design and Donovan figured out how to meet us in the middle (while making us both compromise and come out comfort zone for the better of the style) - he came to our home and designed our living, screen porch, and master bedroom spaces - taking into consideration our living needs (young kids). 8 months later of living in our furniture we are sooooo comfortable in our main living spaces he helped us with. What he did - was also offer us brands outside of their sales floor. Recently, we went to Braden’s and Donovan again for outdoor furniture and he helped us design our outdoor space working within our (realistic!) budget — our experience has been amazing and they offer all brands - you just have to ask. Also - they help design the space. 5 out of 5 experience.”

I bought an Amish table and my budget could not afford the Amish chairs. I figured we could find lower costs chairs elsewhere, and I set out to look for chairs everywhere. During my chair hunt I realized that good chairs are fairly pricey and I did not like the lower cost chairs. I went everywhere, finally I stumbled into Ethan Allen of all places, I knew EA had quality chairs and it wouldn’t be low cost but maybe I could find some ideas. I met an awesome associate Susan, I told her hastily I was just looking. She remained respectful and not pushy. Then as I exited, I found the Clinton bench and I just loved loved loved it. It was on clearance but sold. Susan said she could call around and possibly find another, I said sure, but I had low expectations.
A few days later I received the call from Susan, she found it ! Great, now I was on the hunt to find chairs to coordinate with the beautiful bench, and none at other places seemed to be good fit to go with the very fine well made Clinton Bench. So, a week or two later, I went back to Susan at Eathan Allen. I presented what I could and could not afford, she gracefully understood and was so very helpful! She helped me design and did a house visit, I learned I had some good affordable choices at Eathan Allen ! I told her what I preferred and of course, on sale, but only 2 chairs were available locally. I let her know I was willing to drive to other locations to avoid a delivery charge.
Susan again called other locations and found my last 2 chairs to complete my table set and stay within my budget. Ethan Allen was creative and made my access to other stores simple and complete. I am so delighted with the Knoxville Ethan Allen store and Susan. I made multiple trips to this store, each time Susan was all smiles and greeted me at the entrance. She knew my name and I never had to explain, she understood. There was never any pressure for us to finalize our decision. Thank you Susan for being patient and making my purchase of dining room chairs complete, and a wonderful experience.”
