This used to be an excellent store with outstanding customer support. I went there the other day to pick up an order and was shocked by their lack of customer care. I had just left the orthopedic doctor’s office where I was seen for a broken elbow and my right arm was in a sling with a cast on it. Just to paint a complete picture, I’m also 72 years old.
At Tractor Supply, I was unable to connect to the app for someone to bring my order out, so I went inside. The woman who “helped” me put my 40 lb bag of dry dog food and a case of canned wet food into a regular shopping cart and made absolutely no effort or offer to help me load it! A woman who was in her vehicle in the parking lot saw me struggling to lift the bag out of the cart with my left arm and came over and loaded it for me. Many thanks to that woman and what has happened to this store? They used to go above and beyond with customer support. Side note: the store was not at all busy- maybe a couple of cars in the parking lot and there were two women working at the front, one at the checkout and the other, the woman who loaded my cart.

I decided to give this store another chance. As I was looking for dry dog food an employee asked if I needed help with my selection, loaded it onto my shopping cart, asked if I needed help loading it into my vehicle, and did so, all the while being super nice and helpful. My faith has been restored- this is the Tractor Supply I always expected and appreciate. Well done.”

“The Rockwood Wal-Mart now offers the Online Grocery Pickup. I have used this service several times, and have had no issues. The associate's are polite and knowledgeable, always make me feel welcome. The associate's are trained to pick all of your groceries as if they were they are the ones buying it. Have never got any out of date or expired products. If the products do not look good enough for them to buy it they will not choose the item. Substitute items are available also, under different brand or size. The best part is this is a free service. Just download the Wal-Mart grocery app it is real easy, fast,fresh and free always.”
