“The best place and one stop shop for A2Z stuffs and their food is so good, and they also serve Hunts Brothers Pizza, my favorite brand of pizza inside C stores. Very soon, this location is going to open Ice Cream Parlor.”

“Needed a place to get gas and was driving for miles with nothing in sight. The place itself was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. Good variety of drinks, snacks, and food as well!”

“I love this gas station...I love the hot plates that they offer....had a pork chop a couple of weeks ago that was fantastic! They also have some cool clerks behind the counter...I always feel like I'm gonna hit it big with my scratch tickets from here, too!!!”

“Only making this 5 star review for the employees who work at this gas station; they are so kind, helpful, and deserve better pay and working conditions! you can tell when something is up with management or the owner isn't handling the business correctly... y'all need to fix the concrete in the parking lot, it's so high off the street it will take out the underneath of your car if you are not careful, not to mention the gas prices are 3x the amount you can pay anywhere else within 5-10 minute range. lower gas prices, do sales on your store merchandise and people will stop here more often increasing your overall sales. I've been stopping at this gas station for years now and I continue to come here solely for the smiling friendly clerks who are always ready ask how your day is and give excellent customer service.”

“They have biscuits and various sausages cooked in advance. If you want a sausage biscuit they split the biscuit put the sausage in and wrap it up. It was excellent and employees were very personable.”

“Full service always has been and probably always will be! Cox family have always been great folks my grandfather Ellie worked there his whole life those were the days. New folks have no idea how the town square use to be certainly not like it is now. McGinnis is the last place from the old days…and my old car just looks good parked at the pumps ?”

“Best place to stop! It’s super clean and they will get you in and out quick. I used to stop and see Ms. Connie every morning before I switched to night shift! Even after switching shifts Mr. Hunter during the night is just as friendly! Great people here for sure!! They always start my day/night off right!”

“I grabbed gas here this morning, then went inside to see what they had for breakfast. They have fried chicken livers, fried chicken, fried catfish, corn dogs, egg rolls, and biscuits. I got some juice and some fried chicken with a biscuit.I am so white my ancestors were mayonnaise, but I cannot eat unseasoned chicken. Without sauce or anything, this stuff is GOOD. I got a thigh and a drumstick, and it wasn't overcooked, the chicken was still moist (sorry, I hate that word, too), and while yes, it's greasy, it's not any more do than what you'd get at a restaurant. The employee I interacted with was nice and very helpful. The gas prices are on par with the Rhodes area, which has some of the cheapest gas in the city.I wanted to knock off a half-star because it costs 2 dollars (in quarters, or $2.50 on a card) for 3 minutes of air for tires. That was barely enough time for me to check and top up two that my car kept alerting me about, and $4 is a bit much, even though I know I had the change to cover it. I really needed the air because I've got a small stem leak, and the price was just annoying. But this chicken I'm finishing up? Awesome.”

“Fuel & Food ~15 miles outside of town. Nothing spectacular ... but it's a SUPER CONVENIENT stop if you're in the area. Lots of warehouses nearby with 1,000s of workers needing a quick, hot meal. Slayden offers more than the standard gas station food -including chicken, catfish, spaghetti, etc. They even have SMOKED RIBS. Yes, I said ribs -Full slab, half or 3-bone! Chicken Tenders were good -but still needed sauce. People were super-friendly.”

“Usually a convenient and nice store to run to but the heavy set cashier working sometimes is one of the rudest people we have ever met. Absolutely unnecessary behavior towards the customers. Employers should take note of her actions towards the people & male sure she's held accountable for it.”
