The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure you get the care you need. Their prescription service is fast and efficient, and they take the time to explain medications and answer any questions. They also have a great selection of over-the-counter medicines, medical supplies, and wellness products.

“Not terribly happy with them right now. This is the first time I've dealt with them.
Farragut ENT sent a script to them (twice) via fax to deal with a chronic sinus infection I'm trying to get rid of.
Person at Fountain claimed that they didn't get it until Thursday and my visit with Farragut was the previous Monday. The person even said that they had to call Farragut, which would be very strange as how would they know to do so unless they did have the script.
After receiving the package (finally) on Saturday, the instructions were confusing. Called and left a message on Saturday to ask for clarification. Did get a call on Sunday from a Mr. Jason Reed who clarified the instructions and said that they had had the problem come up before. I was able to explain to him the problems that were encountered and he said he would talk to the team about it. I thanked him and was glad to get his help.
I might have given a lower rating had he not have called when he did. Guess we'll see how things go if I have to continue to work with them.
Update, Monday, one day later:
Mr. Jason Reed called me this afternoon to talk over the situation again and said that he has spoken to the CEO and others who have said that they would make some changes to (hopefully) keep this from happening in the future. Because of this, I agreed to up my rating by on star (to 4) at this time.
If I need to refill the script in question, we'll see how that goes. If improvements have been made, I will further increase my rating as it shows that the feedback mattered.
Please note that I take ratings seriously and have done a great number over the past several years. Some people rate things either extremely high or low without making any points as to why they gave that rating, making it useless to anyone else. It's bad enough that there are lots of false ratings on products and services and I personally look at ratings, both positive and negative, before deciding on purchases and am grateful to those who give thoughtful reviews.”

“Food City is the grocery option in my small town, and they could be pretty much however they wanted and still survive, but they are excellent. I would go here even if I could go someplace else without leaving town. The pharmacy is great as well. They really go the extra mile for you. The curbside/ Instacart shoppers are very good and communicate everything with you. 10/10 and definitely recommend.”
“I spoke with a lady yesterday about a prescription for my sick puppy and there was some confusion about the name it was in. The lady went above and beyond to contact my vet and get everything straightened out. Every dealing i've had with these folks have been first class and pleasant. Great group of people.

“I like Food City but they need more things for people who can’t eat sodium. I would love to see no salt pretzel’s, popcorn , tomato sauce , tomato paste, spaghetti sauce, Ezekiel’s bread. There are a lot of people who have heart conditions and can’t eat out in restaurants. I went in today to use the scooter and someone was sitting in and employees were talking to him. I have a heart condition and I can’t walk and I had to grab a buggy and I almost collapsed before I left. I may look young on outside but inside no. They need a bench for people and not let people sit on scooters.”

“I was traveling out of state and needed to refill a prescription from another pharmacy. The pharmacist took the time to call 2 different pharmacies to get them transferred and found one of them to be closed on a Saturday so he mentioned that I should be able to go to the local pharmacy here in town and have them fill it for me because they should be able to share data base. He also took time to look up any savings cards I may have. Very nice and professional and great southern hospitality!”

“What can one say? One Walgreens is like another. What sets them apart boils down to friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, and convenient access. This store has all three in spades. As for friendliness, they always greet you when you enter and when you leave. The pharmacy staff are pleasant, too. One Gentleman knows his regular customers so well that he can see you coming and have your prescriptions ready to ring up. It feels like a neighborhood store.”

“Allen and his staff are truly a blessing.
I used to go to the big name pharmacies and just accepted the constant issues… long lines, stuff not in stock, billing problems. I didn’t realize how much better it could be.
This place has a real hometown feel. They know you by name, it’s quick, convenient, and the service is top notch every time.
