H-E-B Pharmacy is a trusted source for routine immunizations and the COVID-19 vaccine, ranked #1 in customer satisfaction. The store is clean with a large selection of items, a bakery, and even a bank. Many find it a great place to shop, with plenty of registers open to go in and out quickly. However, the pharmacy itself is very busy. There is a noted lack of checkout lines or employees, causing daily lengthy lines inside and outside that has persisted for over a year. Prescriptions are most of the time not ready even after a call, and the busy staff does not do extra to check insurance. Despite this, some customers report exceptionally helpful service, with employees ensuring prescriptions are ready even minutes before closing during a holiday.

Super friendly and helpful staff!! I went in the day after a medical issue and I was still recovering, one of the sweetest people working here volunteered to help me find my shopping list and didn’t leave my side until I had everything I needed and was checking out. I love this store 🫶 thank you guys!
