About Holiday Inn Express & Suites Abilene, an IHG Hotel
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Abilene, an IHG Hotel, offers a mixed experience for guests. While the hotel was generally clean and the staff was friendly, there were some notable issues. Some guests reported problems with their rooms, such as incorrect room assignments and malfunctioning televisions. The breakfast service also faced challenges, with a lack of juices and a broken waffle maker, and the dining area furniture was described as worn and in poor condition. However, the hotel was praised for its accommodating staff, who were able to assist guests with early check-in and provide support to those who were feeling unwell. Overall, the hotel seems to provide a decent stay, but there is room for improvement, especially in ensuring consistent quality of amenities and services.
Bed was lumpy sheets were damp when we got to the room there was a dead bug on the wall in the bathroom and the overflow for the tub was missing and just an exposed rusty pipe for almost 300 a night after fees I would expect better out of a IHG hotel

The staff were very warm and welcoming but the property is pretty run down (front and back doors didn't operate properly, threadbare chairs in dining area, moldy baseboard, tv not connected, window blinds not functional, no toilet paper holder, etc.)

The staff was great, helpful, and kind. It was super expensive almost 300 dollars. I stay many nights at holiday inn. I was super disappointed that it was this expensive, for no obvious reason.
