“I had occasion to use this venue during the “Rainbow Market” event following the 2023 Abilene Pride Parade. The venue is beautiful, spacious, and well appointed. It seems to have everything one might need for just about any kind of event. It was a very hot day, but even with people going in and out of the doors constantly the temperature inside remained very comfortable. The rustic wood effect really lends to the atmosphere. There is a large area with concrete floors and another with wood floors, perfect for different kinds of use needs, and a very nice stage area for MC and entertainment purposes. The in house sound system was very effective. I have plans to book this venue myself for a different purpose in the future and will update my review with more info when I do.”

“Stay was great except. The fact that they lost the keys so breakfast was late and y’all really need to fix this why is your ice machine on the third floor so first floor has to go all the way to the third floor to get ice this is becoming a trend with all holiday inn express, it’s stupid that we should have to go all the way to the third floor to get ice. Every floor should have an ice machine even the fleabag hotels have ice machines on all floors.”

“The Acre is SOO unique and Rachel is one of the absolute BESTS!!! It’s such a fun place and is sooo amazing that you can have the venue entire weekend. If you are getting married and using The Acre as your venue- it is a steal!! Most venue packages only include 12 - 15 hours on your wedding day. A normal venues includes 9am- midnight. That seems like a lot of time - IT’S NOT! Let me explain - you have a 5pm wedding ceremony so that means your photos will start around 1pm or 2pm, which means the bride /mother of the bride will start getting ready around 10am /10:30am. This usually means that you have from 9am to 10/10:30am to set up and decorate an entire wedding ????. That is CRAZY- welcome to the wedding industry ????♀️. Booking the acre means you have the venue for the entire weekend- DO IT! Book The Acre, It’s amazing!”

“The staff at the Grace were super accommodating and very friendly. We recently rented the rooftop for a small picnic for a going away party for some friends.. Thomas (I think that was his name) worked us in last minute and even took time to snap a few pictures for us. We really appreciated them, highly recommend the Grace for your event, big or small!”

“Go watch Sound of Freedom, we did it here, they had several showings while other were late/last. First time, seems well run and clean. The chairs didn't stay reclined and the first three rows left me wishing the recliners weren't spring but levers like a normal recliner. 4th row back seems about the start of normal viewing ergonomics.”

“I stay here months on end for various times over the years, Lately I'm noticing good changes. The Maintenance guy seeks out things to do in the hotel, thats great. The housekeeper Denise is a great lady, super nice and willling to help even when its not my rooms cleaning day.Last time I checked the grill worked good too. They've just been nice here.Walkability: Walmart is next door, and some mexican food.”

“For the last 2 years our nonprofit had used 389 for our largest yearly fundraiser.The atmosphere is beautiful and rustic and fits whatever theme we choose to go with. With a 350 person occupancy we are able to grow as the interest of our event does. Also the additional space that fits our "extras" such auction item displays, photo booths. check in tables, etc. is phenomenal to have on top of just seating.Lisa and her staff are extremely accommodating. From linen, set up, arranging catering, bar sales, and even answering the smallest question they have ensured our events have went off in style and with no hiccups and assisted us in every way possible.Everyone who attends always leaves happy and in awe of the venue. We will be back again for the amazing space and helpful staff. Thank you 389!”
