“Great place with a great atmosphere. A charmastic and welcoming owner makes it easy for you to spends hundreds if dollars on trading cards and not even mind it so much. My favorite card shop in the state.”
“I highly recommend this venue. I had such an amazing time. The best part was the people I met. I am an amateur, and they were willing to work with and teach me. I learned so many things about table games, and this place has excited my interest”
“Great spot for all of your hobby needs! Was lucky enough to get to play Alpha strike with the group at this store! Great atmosphere with a lot of table for gaming! Highly recommend this location!”
“Had a AWESOME time at the lego store for their mini build event! We all went as a family and upon entering were greeted by such lovely workers. They moved the line quick and made sure everyone was taken care of. Son actually didnt complain and wants to come back. They have a steal deal where you can custom build your own Lego people for $9.99 and you can build 3! We all were big kids that day LOL. UPDATE: 8-21-2025 Mena was so kind and had a beautiful smile! Checked in on everyone to make sure we were content
UPDATE : 6-28-2026 - Love the new layout!!!! Went for the mini builder event and although the store was caught off guard lol they still got us in and we enjoyed it as usual. Also grabbed another lego set!”

“We went in for the first time and everyone was so nice! They asked if we needed any assistance and allowed us to browse freely without being over our shoulder. When we asked about different products, the associate was so helpful! We purchased this awesome R2D2 and really enjoyed building it!”
“Just went into the store on my lunch break to look around and ask some questions about getting started with 40K. Cash was running the store and was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. The store is well stocked and very clean. I look forward to visiting again in the future!”
“I love this place but I sure wish they would list what's on each isle using a sign at the end of the isle, like at Walmart, HEB, for people who are new to the store or infrequent shoppers.”

“REN is very knowledgeable of any collectibles you’re looking for. She’s very approachable and is lucky pulling booster bundles that you’re looking for!”
“I found this review sitting in my drafts, posting it now...I had ordered some tea-light candles from Michaels, the online ad said it burned for 4 hours, and I tested one, it was alive only for 3. I did not want it, but was a little hesitant as I had already opened one, still I visited the store and they took it, they did ask me how come its opened, but took it back anyway in the spirit of 'customer not satisfied', which was indeed what it was.Appreciated the service. Now that I was here, decided to look around. Have always found interesting stuff at this one of the best DIY stores. Great variety from paper crafts, wood, to yarn, stickers, seasonal stuff, Ofcourse paints, canvas, frames , tailoring stuff, Cricut machines, instant cameras and many many more. Not to forget the all exclusive art classes. Michaels is a store that can make your imagination take flight and your creative instinct jump start, like mine did. I HAVE to start painting again !In the sticker section, they have added some not- so- native- to- America festivals like Diwali ! I had seen it in Party city, now here, it was cool, I Hadd to get it. I also got some beads and a pendant to accessorize a particular dress and make it party ready. Now if I could just find that sewing kit and some time, Thanksgiving is just about a day away!I will be back soon.”
“This is my neighborhood store. I come here often. Usually everyone is super friendly, although checkout can be a little slow. Came today and found the store manager, Gloria, to be a rude and unhelpful. She lacks customer service skills and the checkout guy had to help me and multiple people while she seemingly was on a personal phone call. Disappointing giving she’s the “manager”.”
“You always find something in this store. I love their fall & Halloween items. They have cute stationery as well. Ended up buying some candles, Halloween stickers & stationery paper pad.”
“Great overall store. Could use some tlc and a new face-lift but a great overall store and probably one of the largest inventories of mtg singles you will find in houston.”
