4059, 1401 FM 1462, AlvinCharlie Brown and I recommend this Vet. They have answered all of my questions and listened to all of my concerns the last few months since I’ve had Charlie. Everyone there has always been so good and friendly to my baby. My kids also love going with Charlie to his visits. They get to ask questions and learn so much about the animals, their favorite part would be the stickers and the fish in the waiting room. Thank you ☺️

2230 Nancy St, AlvinI just picked up my babies after they spent a week with Alvin Boarding. I was a very nervous dog mommy since this was my first time boarding my fur babies. I will definitely be using them again and would recommend to anyone who’s nervous leaving their babies like I was. I was able to see photos of them almost daily and when I picked my babies up they were were happy and seemed to be content and not anxious at all which to me says a lot about the care they received while in Alvin Boardings care.

1910 Kings Ln, AlvinThey’ve helped us out a ton with boarding over the years, some planned, some very last minute and they’ve never made it a problem. During the storm, they took in my mom’s dog on super short notice and even went to pick her dog up just to help keep things calm and less stress on her. They’ve also trained both of our dogs (Golden retriever and Golden Doodle) through their training programs, and the difference has been huge. Our dogs are night and day compared to before. I also really appreciate that they still work with the dogs during boarding instead of just letting them sit in a kennel. Their pricing is fair, and you can tell they genuinely care about the animals. If you’re looking for training or boarding, I’d definitely recommend them!

113 E Sealy St, AlvinI don’t have words to describe how good this place is. Instead of taking pictures of how the plate looks like when they brought it, I will leave a picture of how my plate looks like after eating it. I wanted to take my fingers and clean the plate myself.
Everyone in Houston and surroundings should definitely come and try this place. I’m coming back on with the Wifey.

Malt-N-Burger
25330 Hwy 6, AlvinSearched for a malt and burger on Maps and this was the first listed, albeit 30 miles away with countless burger joints betwixt. It was a nice day, so we made the drive and I'm glad we did.

Ordering was efficient at the counter. We both ordered malts and 1/4 original burgers with cheese. I got bacon but not her, and she got mayo while I stuck with mustard. Fries to split.

The malts came out first, brought to the table. They were perfection. Prominent malt flavor and creamy ice cream (not sure it is ice cream or some other product). What a start!

The burgers and fries came next, and we loved them. The salad was on the bottom, comprised of iceberg lettuce, tomato slabs, and onions. Cheese was on top, and mine was capped by very thin bacon slices. The patty was solid, the whole thing was juicy. My only real note is that the bacon tended to come out rather than being cut when bit; some combination of thinness, toughness, and size at play here.

The fries were crinkle cut and amazing. So crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. If the malt wasn't so darn good, these might have stolen the show.

Overall, 10/10. If they were 25 miles closer, we'd be regulars.

One thing to note for my burger-loving motorcyclist fam: the side parking lot is concrete with ample space. There is lots of seating. This could be a very nice place to spend your mid-ride money. :D
