Claudia truly loves animals, and it shows in how patient and gentle she is with every dog. Managing five dogs with different personalities isn’t easy, but she handles them with care and they always come back looking great.
Most importantly, our dogs are relaxed and happy when we pick them up. We trust Claudia completely and highly recommend her.

She is such a sweet lady, our Baileycita has real bad anxiety and Mrs. Sharon gladly works with her and goes above and beyond to make sure our Bailey is comfortable and calm during her grooming! We always love sending Bailey to her, and will continue to do so, and would highly recommend sending your dog to Mrs. Sharon, a trustworthy and professional groomer!

1200 Hwy 35 Byp N North suite b 101, AlvinThe hour wait to pick up my dad's dog was ridiculous. Then instead of just taking accountability, the girl yells that she told another girl to get him. Mind you she kept looking at me standing there and made eye contact several times. Granted a rush of pets came in and out, however, all I was doing was picking up the dog, as no payment or checkout info was required...just needed to be handed the lead and walk out. The staff was friendly. The regulars seemed to really like the doctors.

1910 Kings Ln, AlvinThey’ve helped us out a ton with boarding over the years, some planned, some very last minute and they’ve never made it a problem. During the storm, they took in my mom’s dog on super short notice and even went to pick her dog up just to help keep things calm and less stress on her. They’ve also trained both of our dogs (Golden retriever and Golden Doodle) through their training programs, and the difference has been huge. Our dogs are night and day compared to before. I also really appreciate that they still work with the dogs during boarding instead of just letting them sit in a kennel. Their pricing is fair, and you can tell they genuinely care about the animals. If you’re looking for training or boarding, I’d definitely recommend them!

4755 TX-35, AlvinWe always choose Canine Castle to board our dog! She’s unsocial so they’re amazing at taking her out without any other dogs around. She loves going there, and we love that she comes exhausted and clean after her “royal bath” haha. Highly recommend! Such friendly staff as well.

25330 Hwy 6, AlvinAbsolutely hands down the BEST burger in the Alvin area! From the first bite, you can tell everything is made fresh and cooked to order. The burgers are thick, juicy, and packed with flavor, the fries are perfectly crispy, and the shakes and malts are some of the best I’ve ever had.
The service was fast, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the whole experience reminded me why local family-owned restaurants are so much better than the big chains. You get great food, generous portions, and people who genuinely care about their customers.
If you’re driving through Alvin or anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop at Malt-N-Burger. It’s the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to and recommending to everyone you know. Easily one of my favorite burger spots in Texas!

114 North Gordon Street, AlvinIt's a tavern, and you know how I feel about old English tomfoolery, Carl. I visited when they hosted a DCC Trivia night, and although they had theme drinks and food to offer, I had partaken of the French Onion Burger.
A sensuous and alluring creature that burger is. Soft and silky caramelized onion, as if plucked by magic from the plate of a King. Bacon, surely from a pig well loved in life, perhaps a routine of frolicking through marigolds in the morn... I feel I can taste that come through.
The burger, just right and juicy.
The bread.. I dunno. I'm keto, so. I mean, it was there, but I can't comment on it's quality or aerial speed.
Oh, The French Onion Burger ... It beckons to me, even now, beyond the fog. Beyond time and space. The French Onion Burger dances upon my lips, alas in memory alone... Until the next time I cross the threshold of Gordon Street Tavern
