10611 FM1764 suit d, Santa FeGigi is no longer there, it's run by her brother Martin. He is the sweetest man and will always work on price. Unfortunately my dog did stay there the entire day, morning till close but I can understand that they're short staffed and have a booming business.

6310 Avenue T, Santa FeWe recently celebrated a birthday at Haak Winery and had an absolutely wonderful experience. It’s hard to believe you’re still in Galveston County once you’re out among the vines. The grounds are beautiful, especially around sunset, and it really feels like you’ve gotten away for the evening without actually having to go very far.
What impressed me most was the staff. They didn’t just pour wine and move on. They took the time to learn what each person in our group liked and helped everyone find a bottle that fit their taste. With a group of people who all have different preferences, that takes some effort, and they did a great job.
The setting, the wine, and the hospitality made it a fantastic place for a birthday celebration. We had a great evening and will absolutely be back.
If you’re in the Galveston/Houston area and haven’t been to Haak yet, it’s well worth the short drive to Santa Fe.
