“Service has gone down hill. Nobody smiles, nobody offered to carry my 20 lbs of litter to my car like they used to. The MOD was barking orders to people and never once acknowledged customers in the store.. you could feel the tension. Horrible experience, I probably won’t be back. And I’ve been a long time customer. You can tell it’s not a locally owned store anymore. Petco has much better service.. just not the food my fur kids eat. But I may switch them to Acana. So sad.
Update: stopped in grab some hot spot gel that Petco was out of and Myra welcomed me into the store and also rung up my purchase! She was wonderful and they are blessed to have her!”
“I purchased grooming tools and dog accessories, and the staff helped me compare different options based on durability and price. One leash I bought had a weak clasp, which I only noticed after returning home. When I went back, they replaced it without any argument. The shop can get crowded near the billing area, but the staff remains calm even during busy hours. That made the experience more comfortable.”

The people that work there are helpful and knowledgeable but after we bought a wristband to the area with the big snakes and lizards we met Hayden. Hayden walked us through almost every exhibit and knew so much about all the animals, it was amazing!
Not only did my kids (and me) learn a ton, we got to hold and interact with so many snakes and lizards. I would definitely recommend this if you have kids of any age or if you're bored one day and just want to learn some neat stuff about animals and hold something cool. You can also watch some of the snakes and lizards eat a rodent for a fee (Between $5-$10 from what I saw) which is something I'd suggest too if you have the stomach for it. Had a blast and will definitely be back, thanks for making our day out something cool!”
“The staff are so helpful and they have an extensive food section for all types of domestic animals, as well as offerings for wild animals as well. Plus leashes, toys, farm equipment, etc. I love going and just looking at everything.
Prices are very reasonable too!”
“Very helpful and full of knowledge. Got to watch them give a very uncomfortable dog a haircut and clip nails. They did such a great job! They actually care about how the dog feels as well! 10 star groomers and staff in my opinion!”

“If you're looking for a healthy all Natural Pet Food then Merrick is it. Their ingredients are 100% USA and comes from Hereford TX. When the DCM/Grain Free suspicion came out the company has added additional Taurine and revamped their formulas. They have also promised if there is a clear connection made they will immediately change anything they have to. They have formulas for small dogs, adults, seniors, picky dogs, active dogs, allergy pets, etc.”
“I always love tractor supply! They always have anything i need from dog vaccines to even giving them a good bath and the staff are always super friendly and willing to help!”

“I’ve been coming to this store since moving here in 2022. It is not only the cutest pet boutique, but so much more. You can bathe your dog in a private room by appointment or there is another (still private) room for walk-ins. It’s very convenient that you can book a bath appointment online (or call as well). The products provided in the baths are of high quality and smell so good! Our dog is there so often, his photo is on their website!
They sell high-quality dog and cat food and even though they are a small business, they keep their prices competitive with the larger box stores! Very unique toys, treats, chews, and a doggie treat bakery too. The owners are very nice, helpful, and know their product lines well. They are always winning “Best of Amarillo” awards and rightfully so.
It’s always nice to support your local small businesses, but even nicer when it is worth it to do so!!! Even for people just passing through town, this is a great place to stop for all your pet needs!”
