Transmission Repair near Aransas Pass, TX

“Please, Please, Please use John's Transmission & Engine. Coming back to Austin from a fishing trip in Port Aransas, the water pump to my truck suddenly and completely came apart as soon as I came off the ferry. I pulled into the parking lot of the HEB in Aransas Pass at about 2:30pm on a Thursday. I called a couple of mechanics in Port Aransas and none of them were willing to help me so late in the day and could only offer to try to fit my vehicle in for repairs on the next day. John, however, listened to my need to get back to Austin on that same day and agreed to work on my vehicle immediately. I limped my truck about a mile away where John had already pushed other vehicles out of the way that could wait until tomorrow. He immediately began to work on my vehicle personally. It was a difficult job and required lots of patience and know-how. John stayed until 8 pm. to complete the job himself and then checked and rechecked his work so that I would not get stuck again on the drive home. He also gave me an extra gallon of water and coolant for the drive. And to top it all off, the cost of the repair was extremely fair and he didn't even consider charging me extra or taking advantage of a traveling tourist in need. Honesty, Skill and Customer Service Orientated!!! Highly Recommended.”
