“Our stove went on the fritz at home and we bought a new one from Lowe’s. We all know how important a stove is so instead of paying for installation and waiting a week for it to be delivered, we opted to install it ourselves.
As my luck normally goes with anything around the house there are always several trips to the hardware store. I needed new fittings for the gas regulator and couldn’t use the old one because I couldn’t get it out. So off to our local Ace Hardware. Jeff and the other gentleman working in Plumbing were fantastic. They found the right fitting and also told me the right “Teflon” tape to use for the fittings. I’m glad they did because I had no idea that the Teflon tape I bought there an hour earlier wasn’t the right type of tape for what I was doing.
After I got everything put together, installed, etc. one of the mounting brackets had fallen inside of the range and it couldn’t be recovered. So back to Ace we go and we talk with the gentleman from Plumbing again. He tried to help us find something similar to secure the range to the counter, but we all came out empty handed.
Everyone there is always so helpful. Though more expensive than Home Depot or Lowe’s, I will always pay extra for kind, friendly and polite people who go above and beyond to help customers!”

“I walked into Ace with a crib screw problem that Home Depot couldn’t even begin to help with. Before I could explain the whole thing, a guy named “Hey Mike” — yes, that’s literally what his name tag says — stepped in like it was nothing.
He grabbed pliers and an Allen wrench, freed up a jammed bolt-barrel nut combo from a baby crib bracket in about 30 seconds, and acted like it was no big deal. Didn’t upsell, didn’t stall — just fixed it.
If you’re stuck, frustrated, or out of your depth, don’t waste time elsewhere.

“Great place to get window screens made and repaired! Barry took care of a few window screens I needed, and at an amazing turnaround! I took the screens I needed repaired and also made a request for additional new ones in the morning, and by the later afternoon I received a call that Barry was done!
Previously I took the screens to another Ace in Arlington and they held them for 1 week without even starting on them! This is the Ace to visit! Great customer service at Van Marcke's Ace Hardware and an amazing team. Thanks Barry!”

“Good tools, especially the roofing guns, and I bought them at other chain tool stores and they have failed me. I don't know why, but the tools from Texas Tools Traders are of better quality, even at a lower price than in other stores.”
“We have purchased numerous power tools and a variety of things for our business here. Today I picked up a log splitter for personal use and I asked where they were. They showed me right away. They helped me load one up in the back of my truck. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was nice and efficient well kept and clean store.”

“Absolutely excellent service today spent almost 30 minutes looking for a certain part until one of the Home Depot associates named FERA helped me out not only did she help me find the right part which at the store I was at was not in stock but also called a different stores manager had them pick up the part for me and keep it reserved. “this home depo is the worst i ever been to....its like going to a flea market where everything is all disorganized.....they do not restock items ever that i can see...forget plumbing pvc....forget nuts and bolts all out are all mixed up ....and employees always in the way blocking access ..and i mean always....i went to home depo in euless and it was way better store and more organized...”
