413 has really had an impact on our Parkinson's journey. It provides guided exercise for those who have movement issues. It provides community and shared struggle among the members. I am very glad we joined.

Having never "boxed" before, I was initially intimidated by others in class who seemed very proficient. However, I quickly felt welcomed by other participants. The instructors are prepared, hardworking and knowledgable of movement disorders and how it effects each individual. They give us challenging workouts while watching us all carefully to avoid falls or injuries. I really enjoy the boxing, comradery and work out routines. I would recommend 413 Fitness to all who have movement disorders and Parkinson's. One of the first things we are told as people with PD is that exercise is the only treatment as yet shown to actually slow the progression of the disease. We must all encourage and support each other and FIGHT BACK!

I was diagnosed in September and started 413 in March. 413 has served to greatly improve my mobility. I’m loving life, again. The coaches, Lauren and Jeremy are the greatest!!! The other Fighters I have met taking classes with me are supportive, kind and fun-loving. I am thankful to have 413 as an important part of my life!!!

I was recently diagnosed with Parkinsons and my neurologist recommended boxing to delay progressively of disease. He referred me to 413 Fitness and I joined immediately. It is a great workout and pushes me to work hard. And, ITS FUN! Alex is the best and my fellow classmates are all doing their best to combat this disease. Even if I didn’t have Parkinsons this would be a great class.

I started here shortly before the shutdown due to the pandemic. I was invited to take part in their Facebook video workouts and was treated like I was a long time member. Everything has been handled so professionally and compassionately during thIs crazy time. Coach Alex is fantastic!!

I attended a class as a volunteer, and was thrilled by all of the positive energy! I was also very impressed with Kristi's teaching style! I both work out and box, yet learned so much, so fast! As a past swim coach and as a licensed counselor of many years, I would recommend 413 to anyone interested in health, fitness, fun and a challenge tailored to the level of the student! I miss all of the people I met, already! I plan to go back!

Kristi is an amazing coach, who encourages all boxers to do their best according to their abilities whether they have Parkinson's disease or not. I enjoy being in the gym as my husband's corner man, and we agree that this workout is by far the most beneficial one we've ever done especially for our balance and coordination. Kristi varies the "routine" so we are never bored. In fact, we laugh a lot doing the exercises and have made many new friends!
