“What an amazing experience! Excellent customer service and lovely people! High quality clean vintage furniture at a fair price. I am in love with my Nathan dining table and chairs from the 1960s. Impeccable.”
“Incredible. Beautiful. A huge selection of brilliant stuff. From drawings, through thimbles, photos, jewelry of all kinds, comics, books from the 19th century, tools, sculptures, old badges, glasses, coins, photos, paperweights, magnifying glasses and thousands of other things. Count at least two hours, but five will not be enough to see everything. Even 1/100 photos do not reflect the quality or atmosphere. I'm sorry we're moving on and I can't go back. I bought a beautiful old paperweight, jewelry, books, and a spoon. Prices from 2 to several thousand USD. A must-visit place!”

“Hussein is an absolute gem of a human and rug connoisseur. This is more than rug shopping, it’s an experience. He prepared us a Turkish tea, pulled out perfect rugs based on the room we showed him, included a few special gifts on the house, and gave us plenty of fascinating knowledge about rugs and more! We also brought two kids and they were treated with such welcome arms. If you’re the type who values authenticity, good people, and wants to support local over Amazon - Go here.”
“Spoke to Paul about my little old coin collection (non precious medals), and even though they specialize in bulk collections and precious medals, Paul was super helpful in pointing me in the right direction as far as where to go to get my coins valued and where to get them graded and what book to check out (The Red Book) to get a general idea of what my coins might be worth depending on their grade. Would definitely check them out if you have precious medals -- gold or silver to sell or a bulk of many many coins, as they really took extra time and care to help me even though I didn't have what they needed to make a deal, so I believe that speaks to their integrity and excellence.”
“I brought two antique Jade lamps that were need of cleaning, repair, and shades. These lamps are very special to me as they came from my Grandmother.
I found Tiplers Lamps shop online and made an initial phone call to them. After that phone call, I knew they had the expertise to bring these lamps back to life again.
I picked the lamps up today and was blown away by how well they looked and the care that was taken to get these lamps looking as great as they do. I appreciated their feedback and their knowledge in this process as well.
I highly recommend Tiplers Lamps shop. I trusted them with a family heirloom and they surpassed my expectations.
I took a picture of one of the lamps and included it in my review. One picture with the light on and one with the light off just so you can see the actual lamp and the shade.”

“I love going to quonset hut when I have free time. Theres always something new to find and add to my collection. Fair prices on items and Rare items too. Owner is a swell guy. Enjoy chatting when I'm there. Definitely the one stop shop for collectors and reenactors.”
“One of my very favorite places in Austin! I rarely leave without some little treasure. It's a great spot for a more personalized and thoughtful gift. I have found some of the coolest art here! The staff is so nice and helpful - always greeting you when you walk in. If you buy more than one item you are usually walking out with a deal!”
“This little antique store packs so much in it that you need to set aside a good chunk of time to really experience it all. It also is deceptively larger than it looks. I picked up one or two little gems and I'll definitely be coming back with friends in the future.”
“Zein is amazing! She is a highly skilled bellydancer and bellydance instructor. Her understanding of the art enables her to instruct on how to keep the body safe while learning, as well as how to create the beautiful movements inherent to the dance. I love being a student in her class. Additionally, her Arabic Bazaar is a fabulous shop for everything related to bellydance, as well as lovely jewelry, lamps, rugs, clothing, home decor and so much more... all carefully hand-selected by her. A definite MUST SEE in Austin!”
“I don't understand all the negative reviews. The workers are great and they have a huge selection of antiques. Yes, they may be a little more expensive but this is Austin and the rent obviously will be a little higher than a store in a small town.”

“Really interesting fellow. He showed me this philips keyboard from possibly the late 80s that uses NMB dome with slider switches. But the crazy thing is that the sliders are shaped differently than the ones found in the Dell QuietKey! I think this board changes the history as we know it of NMB switches— this board has some kind of precursor or gen 0 version of the quietkey switch. The feeling isn’t amazing tho”
“Sorry for posting this here instead of a review as UT reuse store admins declined to post this on their social media.I was there in the store this Thursday, 12/07/2023, between 3.15 pm to 3.52 pm. While my black, Toyota Camry was hit by someone and escaped while parked there. I have filed a police complaint and they are assisting with whatever footage got recorded in my front and back dash-cam. However, help is needed with any information that would lead to finding the culprit. I would reward them with half my deductible amount that would have otherwise been spent on the repairs. “Had a great experience looking through things here at the store! They are very nice and funny people who didn't mind asking us we needed help! I can't wait to return next time!”
“Such an airy and well curated space with the most beautiful Moroccan rugs. The rugs are all handmade and extremely unique. Highly recommend if you're looking for a new rug or home decor to elevate your space.”
“Beautiful items. The gentleman working this past Tuesday went above & beyond and gave me a map of other vintage stores to check out in Austin. Thank you for your friendly service ?”
“Amazing paper exhibit! We got to see an ordinal Gutenberg press and bible. We learned about the early days of book printing and binding. To think that you'd buy a book as a stack of papers, and select an artist binder. The samples were like jewelry. Learning about how playwrights work with directors to try and recreate what's in their imagination was fascinating.”

“Excellent and out of this world taste in antiques. I recently bought a China hutch and it looks stunning in out new barndominium. Thanks Greg (CEO/Owner) for your great customer service. I highly recommend if you want a unique piece — come to Old Europe Antique Home Furnishings - one of a kind!”
“Austin Auction Gallery is by far the best auction house in Texas! They get the most amazing stuff and have unbelievable auctions on a regular basis. They have had so many incredible European auctions over the years that I used to fear France would run out of antique furniture! That said, I continue to be blown away the minute a walk through their doors! If you are looking to buy fine goods at the best prices for your home or business I highly recommend Austin Auction Gallery. Ask for Roland. He is highly knowledgeable and extremely helpful!”
“This is cool antique store, it’s so annoying that you get these “reviewers” with an ax to grind and project their issues onto the store. Obviously I’ve never had an issue being let in or out of this store that’s absurd and the owner is knowledgeable and helpful, I guess to some, being intelligent and well versed in your field is “pompous”. I never have a bad experience here, of course I’m not looking for one either.”
“The best vintage place in all of Austin. Prices are unbeatable. And the selection is the best. Going around to vintage stores you tend to see the same stuff. Not here! They have unique and well curated items!! Always impressed.”
