Austin Pets Alive! Thrift - Burnet is a fresh, funky, and feel-good resale store that sells only the highest-quality merchandise at the lowest prices in Austin. All net proceeds from the store help fund the innovative life-saving programs at Austin Pets Alive!, which has led the way in making Austin the largest No-Kill city in America since 2011. With the community's support, APA! has found safe and loving homes for over 50,000 dogs and cats previously scheduled to be euthanized. The store has a unique pricing system, with fixed prices, assorted prices, and vintage items priced higher. While there may be some inconsistencies in the pricing and segregation, the customers are understanding, knowing that their purchases are supporting a great cause. The store is tight but packed with fun finds, including a lovely pet section. Customers have found great clothing and shoes, and the employees are very friendly. Overall, the APA! Thrift - Burnet store is a great place to shop, with the added benefit of supporting a noble cause.
My FAVORITE charity!??? Donate your items to help support their wonderful cause… saving SO many dogs & cats! AND, you don’t have to donate your clothing based on seasons! In other words, bring your winter coats and donate them in the middle of summer!
