Service at Austin Subaru is always excellent. It's easy to schedule online and they generally have lots of availability. The service reps are friendly and communicative. Their prices are reasonable, less than other non-dealer shops that I've been to, and the work is always done quickly. They never try to upsell me. My rep today was Ariel and she was great - friendly, kept me up to date, responded to my calls quickly. I'll always take our Outback to Austin Subaru for service and will keep buying Subarus for the foreseeable future.

All of the people were professional, nice, and Helpful. The only drawback was I had a 9:20AM appointment and it took 2 hours to complete an 24k/2 year service. Hopefully next time, they will not be so behind on there appointments. The work was impeccable.

I recently had my CVT valve body replaced at the dealership, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received from Travis Alexander.
Travis was incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. He understood exactly what I needed and communicated my concerns clearly to the technicians. I was particularly impressed by how well he kept me updated during the repair process, making sure I knew what was happening every step of the way.
The repair was completed successfully, and I'm extremely happy with the results. My vehicle is running smoothly again, and the P0971 code issue has been completely resolved.
Travis deserves a perfect score for his excellent customer service, clear communication, and attention to detail. I highly recommend him to anyone needing service at this dealership.

Austin Subaru and Adriana Orozco always take good care of my irreplaceable 2014 WRX Hatchback. Dustin Peterke did a thorough review under the hood and recommended a number of maintenance items to keep my car going (he too owns an old WRX). I really appreciate the experience and expertise of the Subaru master technicians. Always 6 Star Service!

Though we decided on an different make of vehicle, I can truthfully say working with Sean Knox's was easily the best experience my wife and I have ever had at a dealership. He made it very hard to go with the other make. He was very precise, clear and thorough when explaining every aspect of the Outback. Thank you Sean, it was a real pleasure!!!

I have owned a few makes of cars and never have I had such a fabulous experience with a Service Visit like I did with Austin Subaru. Everything was easy, on time and exactly to the price quoted. Free Uber for take home and back to pick up my car. I will be back.

Tl;dr: They delay, you pay.
The Austin Subaru service department here is somehow even slower than the laggy Subaru Outback infotainment system. On 12/3/24, 6/9/25, and 8/8/25, I waited 30–60+ minutes just to drop off or pick up my car. Today was the breaking point: I showed up five minutes early for my appointment and couldn’t get a single service writer to acknowledge me. After 15 minutes of being ignored, I left for good.
During a past repair, they kept my car for two weeks. I asked for a simple, temporary waiver to their 100-mile loaner-car rule so I could visit my dying parent in the hospital. They refused and reinforced to me that they GPS-track their loaners and that leaving the radius, even while staying under the mileage limit, would trigger a $250/day penalty without exception. So their slow service meant I had to pay for a rental car. No flexibility, no compassion, no responsibility for taking forever.
Looking at Georgetown Subaru for a better experience? Don’t bother. Same ownership, same chronic understaffing, same issues.
This is my second Subaru and fourth vehicle bought through Contininental Automotive Group, but after this pattern of delays and indifference, I doubt I’ll be back.
Note: The frontline employees all do the best they can, but there’s just not enough of them to do an efficient job.

I had to bring my 2021 Outback in for a recall issue. From the start service rep Carolyn was responsive and helpful. Austin Subaru is the most efficient and friendly Subaru dealership I have visited. Would bring my car back if I should need any service performed.

Sean Knox was the best sales person I have ever worked with. He fought hard to get me the best deal possible and make my car dreams come true! I’ve never met someone as dedicated as him and who puts his clients first. Subaru Austin was a pleasure to do business with and I’m very thankful for the help and guidance that was given to me to make the best decision. I ended up purchasing a Subaru Outback and love it!
