Location was convenient. The hotel appeared to be undergoing some renovations, so perhaps some updating will improve conditions long term. The mattress was worn (could feel the springs), and the breakfast options were a bit limited. However, the room was clean and overall comfortable. The clerk at check-in was friendly and helpful. Decent value for the price.

BEWARE! We booked this hotel at the Austin airport for a ladies trip because it offered park, stay, and shuttle to and from the airport for an additional 10.00 a day. The 445am shuttle to the airport was available but upon return Sunday afternoon at 4pm the shuttle was a 2 hour wait because it was "out for maintenence" We were told to uber back and they would reimburse us. It took 2 ubers with luggage to get us back to the hotel. Upon return to the hotel, the attendant Tommy ( who had just come on duty) said he would speak with management and see what he could do but he was left with the mess to clean up and he doesn't have the ability to reimburse himself. The 2 ubers cost us 65.00. Upon this conversation, the shuttle van drove up with the manager Maei driving it. We explained they left us hanging at the airport and we couldn't wait 2 hours as we have a long drive home to south Texss. He refused to reimburse anything. But wanted to give us 15.00 to help with the Uber. We stated to him this was unexceptable as we spent 65.00 and we feel best western plus corporate should be made aware. He stated do what ever we needed to do and continued out the door to the van with a rolling cart. He proceeded to unload a van full of laundry! The van was not out for maintenence, they had been out doing laundry when they had committed to shuttle service. We loaded our bags in our van and Maei approach us offering to reimburse 30.00 dollars. Although it did not cover our uber ride, we took it but did let him know we still felt that the hotel did not honored what they advertised and we would leave the appropriate review.

It appears the building is either still being built, or in the middle of a major renovation and should not be accepting guests. There was no paint on the walls in the hallway. Smoke detectors had been removed. There were globs of paint in the carpet, in the bathtub, and on the furniture. It was like staying in an active construction site.

They’ve got roaches!!! Darned things are huge! Saw two of them. Managed to drop one but another ran into the void. Ugh. If you absolutely must go here, do not take anything too important. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m allergic to roaches so another room in the hotel was a no-go.
The manager wasn’t very remorseful or understanding of the situation.
Never again. There’s a reason this is the cheapest place!
EDIT: Scroll down and you’ll see other people complaining about roaches too! Wish I had seen that earlier.

My sister and I had to make a last-minute hotel change and decided to spend an extra $30 per night on this Best Western, but honestly, it wasn’t worth it.
The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious, but it didn’t feel comfortable or inviting. The hallways were dark and creepy, and parking was a major issue—we had to park in the back near the trash cans, which felt unsafe, especially late at night after coming back from a concert.
Checking in was a bit chaotic. I saw a group of guests arguing with the staff about extra charges, which was concerning. The room itself was musty, and the AC made the air so damp that even the beds and our clothes felt wet. The bathroom wasn’t much better: the toilet was awkwardly low (felt like it was for kids), and the toiletries were so tiny. When I asked the front desk for more, they didn’t seem to understand and gave me toilet paper instead. I ended up going to Target for supplies.
Overall, for the extra money, I expected way more comfort and a better experience. While the staff was polite, I wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely beware of the super limited parking if you plan to stay here. I’d recommend looking at other options in the area.

I used their airport parking, not the hotel. It was very convenient. They dropped me off at the ticket area. I got back late but the manager drove the van to get me from the airport before he went home for the night. They were very friendly and helpful.
Noteworthy details: Book airport parking directly with the hotel. It is only $10/day.

Our flight got in late and we checked in after midnight. Rooms are adequate but not super clean. No hot water. Breakfast was what you’d expect…mostly edible.

Great location and inexpensive average hotel.
Rooms: Rooms are adequate clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was subpar as was lighting. The beds were somewhat comfortable, but ok for a night or two.
Breakfast was available, however did not use.
Noteworthy details: Pets are welcome with a nominal fee.
