When we got to her house/business, she greeted us with a bright smile, looked at my fiancé and I and already knew what to let us try on. “Y’all!!!! I’m still a diehard thrifter (3rd generation), but OMG Sue Patrick!!!!! Local, owners on-site most days, GREAT TASTE of casual to office clothing, department store range of goodies, stocking suffers, greeting cards, UT-themed items, terrific Clearance rack, too—if you are still looking for someone or want to treat yourself, their north central location with front door parking cannot be beat!!!!! I’ll be hinting for a gift card to my kids for all future occasions.

“Secret Oktober is a staple of Austin and I have been coming here for years for all the dark or bright clothing and accessories I want for my wardrobe. There is such a diverse range of styles here that it is worth you coming to check out for yourself. From socks, hose/tights, jewelry, shirts, dresses, and jackets they have it all here. The sizing ranges too from smaller to even 2-3X sizes too which makes me super happy. Not everything is going to be on the larger size but take your time when you are here and look through the racks. There is something that will catch your eye. This is Secret Oktober's new spot located on Menchaca that shares a coffeeshop, music venue, a bookshop, and even a bicycle spot all within the same shopping area. It is in the perfect spot to park and walk around to visit the other shops. Super happy to welcome them to South Austin!”

My husband, after much pushing & prodding, made his initial appointment much too late into gala season & I felt certain the tux wouldn’t be completed in time. No worries- he’ll have a custom Italian tuxedo waiting for him in his closet for the next event! Buddy was understanding & attentive, setting clear expectations on timeline so that there would be no disappointment if it indeed couldn’t be completed in time for our rapidly approaching deadline.
Buddy was so helpful in offering selections that fit my husband’s personal tastes, body type, & overall aesthetic. He was very personable but always highly professional & customized not only the fitting but the entire process. He went out of his way to follow up closely with the Milan team & encourage a speedy delivery. Luckily, the tuxedo arrived days before our event & he was incredibly flexible to work with my husband’s complex schedule to receive him for a final fitting. The tailoring team was committed & worked quickly- the tuxedo was completed the evening before our event!
My husband looked smashing & the tux was just perfection! It was completely customized, made with high quality natural fabrics, & expertly crafted. I couldn’t be more pleased & definitely plan to refer clients & friends- Buddy was top notch! I look forward to an an excuse to buy another custom look!”

The service was outstanding: I got to try on several sizes in a few different styles, and I got thoughtful guidance on color issues, because I don't see color well. “I appreciate my cashier with the curly black/blonde hair being incredibly patient with me when my card decided I couldn't purchase my items/mind changes/a lot of people around the stress of the holidays. Used a different card, but still, it can be nerve racking. I have left a review before, but wanted to say here I was so thankful for them on the Saturday before Christmas. This time of year can be a very trying time, it's nice that they were adaptable. “tye & fran — the kinda people that make you feel hot, happy, and walk outta the store upset that you didn’t spend more! i walked in, smiles immediately and suggestions which were on point and subtle but helpful without pushing anything. suggested to look for sizes, found alternatives when there weren’t any, basically a 10/10. i always love going somewhere where im not being sold to, but also given great recommendations in what actually looks good on me. leaving the store happy so much i actually asked “where do i put in a good word for you both” ?”
“I recently brought some of my workwear to Imogene and Willie in Austin to have custom stitching done, and the entire experience was phenomenal. From the quality of the craftsmanship to the incredible customer service, they truly impressed me.
Scott took care of the stitching, and his attention to detail was unmatched. The quality of his work was absolutely flawless—every stitch was precise, and the final result completely exceeded my expectations. Peyton was equally amazing, helping me choose the perfect design to complement my workwear. Their expertise and creative input made the process easy and enjoyable.
Not only was the quality outstanding, but the speed at which they completed the work was remarkable. I was expecting a much longer turnaround, but they had everything finished in no time.
If you need custom stitching or alterations, I highly recommend Imogene and Willie. The team there is skilled, professional, and a joy to work with—I’ll definitely be back!”
“These guys were lifesavers! I had a last minute photoshoot coming up for a magazine feature for my agency and myself, and needed to get a suit for myself in a week's time. I had been to several other custom suit stores in Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, etc. and had driven from one corner to another to no avail. I finally landed at another suit store in downtown Austin and was referred to go see the team and League of Rebels, and I am incredibly thankful that I did. Not only did I get a fantastic custom suit, shirt, and tie that really helped me look the part, they were able to get it back to me just in time for me to make my photoshoot. I can't recommend them enough! They were super kind to me, even given the time constraint, and were of the utmost professional about the entire experience from start to finish. They have hands down been the best custom suit experience I've ever had and I will be using them exclusively for all of my custom suits and professional attire moving forward. Great job guys!”
“Great, one of a kind, amazing place to visit. They are the small American Veteran Owned Businesses you feel good supporting through purchasing amazing products. You will not find more comfortable shirts or shorts. I have 4 shirts I bought from them in 2011 and I can still wear them. Neck is not loose nor are there holes in the arm stitching. Seriously, you can buy anything from this store and know you will be happy with the product and who you bought it from.”

“Our service was beyond perfect. Susan did everything possible to make it an outstanding evening. The food on the other hand was fair at best. The salmon which was requested to be rare came very well done, I think it had probably been cooked before and rewarmed, It was dry and not even warm. The steaks were ok. The Brussels sprouts were very greasy and the calamari was also very greasy. We have had both of these appetizers before and they didnt t live up to the usual standard. Without Susan the evening would have been a bust, she was amazing as always.”
“I needed some coffee on a Sunday afternoon & happened upon Brother Friend. We were greeted by Sunny, the shop dog who can also lead you to the coffee area.
My husband and I had a great time chatting with everyone. Even though it was our first time, they made us feel more like friends than customers.

I haven’t been jean shopping in over 3 years and was very self conscious about trying on new clothes let alone walking into the store. Emma immediately made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions and gave me fantastic suggestions and feedback on what would make me feel the most confident in what I was asking.
