Reached out for an interior design and Michael was assigned to us. It has been over 1.5 months and he has still not sent the first draft or respond to our 3 emails. Terrible customer service and a poor representation of this brand.

I had a wonderful experience with Muriel. I called with a complicated request related to a registry and she and her manager worked through it and accomplished exactly what I needed. Excellent service!

This store has gone so far down hill in the past few years. The associates are generally cold, unhelpful, and know almost nothing about the products and systems used to do business. If you have any issues it’s endless phone calls, transfers, dismissive and unfriendly attitudes like you’re bothering them. We were also talked into buying a sofa with terrible fabric quality issues (it’s now discounted bc of that) The rep assured us it would be great without having any experience with it and now we have no recourse to make it right.

10/10 recommend coming in and working with Meredith. We came in trying to shop off of a wedding registry. After we showed a couple different staff members items from the list asking about availability, Meredith stepped in. She asked us to show her every item from the registry we were considering purchasing. 5 minutes later, she had all of the items on the counter waiting for us to review. This saved us so much time wandering around the store trying to figure out what was/wasn’t in stock. She also helped us put together a gift basket with a few items, boxing all of the extras separate. Really great experience because of the support we got from Meredith!

I love shopping at this store, especially the kids' section. My children enjoy everything I've bought for them here. The staff is always friendly.

My children and I are so grateful for Fabiola’s help! We went through the entire store, but because I was carrying a one-year-old toddler, and had my four-year-old was walking next to us, at least 7 associates looked at us, scoffed, and walked away. Fabiola saw me and asked if she could help me. We chatted about children, and I bought about $400 worth of merchandise because of her friendly, empathetic, and sweet approach to customer service. I sincerely hope the rest of the associates take her lead in helping customers who come in with small children. Crate and Barrel is one of my favorite stores, and thanks to her, I’ll be a returning customer once again.

Edited: The in-store customer service is excellent. The national customer service line was not helpful at all -- BUT the in-store folks handled my return and were lovely. [Back story: ordered a $300 ottoman, color was not as described, and nat'l office refused to let me return it -- and this is after we'd spent $6000 with C & B in the last six months.] If you want to do business with C & B, I suggest going into the store and working with their reps rather than ordering online, so if there's a problem you can get the in-store folks to help you.
