Your curbside pickup system isn’t working. Waited for 15 minutes before calling the store, at which point they said they’d send someone. 10 minutes go by and no one came. I walked inside and they hadn’t even packed my stuff. Why do you have so many employees inside standing around doing nothing? Ridiculous!

I had a really great experience shopping here. The sales consultants are attentive and helpful. I went in one day right before closing and they still helped me and pulled swatches. I went back the next day to make a purchase and would definitely shop here again. It is very busy on the weekends, so it might be best to make an appointment or go during the week.

My fiancé and I visited this location for our wedding registry. Judy was kind, patient, and thorough with her tour of the store and explanation of the registry process. She made a huge difference in our experience. We will definitely return to work with her.

Buyer Beware!!!!!! If you order any item that is considered a special order you may not return it. I ordered a chair to match a couch on the advice of a designer without seeing the chair (it was not available in the store) in the same fabric. When the chair arrived, it was a terrible match in size and could not return because the fabric was a special order for that chair not the couch!!!!! The store or corporate were very unwilling to help rectify the matter. I spent thousands of dollars and was willing to spend even more if they could help with the chair but they would not.Response - Order 345832149 I was in the store today to resolve this and spent considerable time with Amber - nice designer - and we chose several pieces to solve my issue. When she went to her store manager, she was told the chair was not returnable and there was nothing they could do!Follow Up - after providing the order number as asked the company and store manager did not contact me or help resolve. Think their response was to act as if they cared! They don't.

This is one of my favorite places to shop. If I grab a few things, someone always comes by and offers to hold them at the front while I continue to shop. It's so convenient and allows me to look at other things. Great customer service every time.

If you are a person of color, avoid shopping at the Austin location. Between Crate & Barrel and CB2, I’ve spent about 30k on their furniture and goods. I’ve visited this location twice and I’m completely ignored each time. I’ve watched as white shoppers are greeted, offered assistance and warmly welcomed. As a person of color, the staff walks past me without making eye contact, greeting me or offering assistance. In fact, they walk in front of me, cutting me off, to greet white shoppers. I’ve watched them give this same treatment to other people of color as well.

Ordering furniture in store is simple and straightforward. Lead times are disappointing and unfortunately overly optimistic. We ended up choosing furniture that had a shorter lead time. Of course, crate and barrel blew through that lead time by 100%. It’s unfortunate the customer service stops after order and the customer is constantly disappointed watching the estimated date go by and get pushed week after week. Finally, you get a delivery date and of course crate and barrel cancels it. Why, because they can’t deliver the product on time. Another fail and another a call and a long hold and promise to do do better that never materializes. I’ve never had a positive delivery experience either. Stay away from furniture that is not in stock. Crate and Barrel, will disappoint every time on furniture that needs to be ordered.Follow up…..the response seems as though crate and barrel cares and wants to make the experience better, but a call resulted in a promise to escalate the issue. So it seems as though their response to make it right, just creates more frustration

Waited over 30 minutes for a curbside order pickup, for an order that was ready for pickup. Called 3 times during this to remind them I was there waiting. Ended up leaving without my order because it took so long. Not sure what the deal is, but definitely don't recommend doing pickup here as this location clearly isn't equipped for this service.

2nd and last time to shop at this Crate & Barrel. Ordered for curbside pickup. Upon arrival, clicked through their prompts & called. Waited although order wasn’t brought out. Went inside, asked if I could pick up my order & gal at the register said “sometimes they come through, sometimes they don’t.” I’m thinking, why do you offer curbside pickup? She takes down my order #, I continue to wait. Finally when the manager came over & asked if I needed help, the gal at the register simply opens the door behind the register and my order box is on a shelf - right there. Similar experience my first time at this store. SO different vs Crate & Barrel Willow Bend in Plano - have made many instore & curbside p/u orders at the Plano store & all have been so pleasant & timely (unlike the Austin store).
