Phone pharmacy assistance is useless. A bot answers and is unable to actually call the pharmacy for assistance. You have to go into the store and beg to be served. Terrible pharmacy.

They sell scam gift cards. I’ve bought 3 Home Depot gift cards from here that have all come with the PIN number scratched off. Have only ever had issues with gift cards purchased at this location. This had happened multiple times this year from this location.

This review is for the pharmacy techs and not the kind & helpful people who work in the front. After my husband realized he paid full price for my inhaler and they did not apply our insurance, he waited in line again to update our insurance. They refused to do so when it was his turn in line and said “go to the back of the line” after he already waited. Please check that they are not overcharging you for your medications and applying your insurance!!! We will be reporting this to corporate & to Aetna.

Their new AI phone system is designed to prevent you from being able to reach a human. Impossible to fill out a medication if you hit a snag. Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy

TL;DR: Staff is great, CVS is sketchy with bait and switch practices. Details: After my vaccination, I was given a folded pamphlet with a coupon for $5 off an order of $20 or more. Nowhere on page 1, 2, or 3 was there any indication that I would need to join the rewards program in order to redeem the coupon. Page 4 was full of small print that I couldn't make out with the glass that I had on. There was an indication that I might get additional rewards by joining the program, but NO requirement was laid out for being in the program to get the $5 off. I spent quite some time in the store making sure that I was purchasing the correct dollar amount. Upon checking out, the system would not validate the coupon because I was not a rewards member. The person on duty was incredibly kind, but could not override this requirement. And there was NO manager on duty. I had to go through the complete sign-up process to get my $5 reward, even though the coupon did NOT stipulate this requirement in a prominent way. This is bait and switch, and is consistent with the sketchy practices that I experienced in the past that led me to no longer shop at CVS. The only reason I came back was because I could get the vaccine that I needed on the date I needed it. To come back and have such an unacceptable business practice presented to me only reinforces my desire never to shop at CVS again.

Don’t rely on this store for printing anything! I submitted an order online yesterday evening to print some documents, paid online, and received confirmation that it would be ready for pick up by “1am” the next day, with a disclaimer that if anything was going to impact the order notification would occur via text and email. I received nothing so went to pick up the order, which I need for this afternoon, at around 10am. I was told “oh, we ran out of paper..” by two employees and they looked at me confused as to why I was asking what they were doing to remedy that. I was told that “maybe the boss could pick some up” on his way from San Marcos but that maybe could be by 5 or 6pm. I finally just asked for my money back which required the employee going and looking for someone else to help. Ultimately, my refund was requested and the employee apologized for the inconvenience-
The blame was placed on the night shift employees but honestly the day shift could have notified that the order wasn’t going to happen.
I hate giving these bad reviews, but I do feel like others should be warned to just avoid this place if you’re trying to get stuff done- it’s just hassle and a lot of incompetence.

The male Pharmacy Tech was extremely rude throughout the entire process of filling my prescription. When I asked to use Good RX since I don't have insurance, he became even more irritated and mentioned they were closing in two minutes and was all huffy and puffy. I understand it might have been close to his lunch break, but there's no excuse for the lack of courtesy. I won't be returning to this location ever again. First and last time. On a positive note, the older lady with short brown hair stocking items was very kind and helpful.

Only giving 4-stars because of Sajjad and Maryam. They were both extremely helpful, went above and beyond to assist me with a photo order.
It's unfortunate the retail landscape is so bleak that when you meet people who are pleasant to deal with, you pray they are able to stay that way.
CVS is lucky to be their employer.

Amanda at the pharmacy is the best! She’s always very attentive and knowledgeable about medications and insurance questions as well. She goes above and beyond for her patients and the whole team is really great, nice, and welcoming. I see a lot of people come in there angry about things BEYOND their control (Drives me nuts bc these pharmacists are literally so so nice) They do their job and they’re good at it. And they save me money! Jacob is also very awesome.
