I was shopping for lighting here and supposed to call my husband to pick me up when done. I realized I left my phone in his car and asked a clerk if I could use the store phone to make a local call and explained why. He told me no and that it's company policy not to let customers use the phone. Wow.. and now it's my policy never to buy anything from this store ever.

Store lacks quality customer service and communication.GM Annette was unwilling and unable to resolve defective furniture. Conversation for attempted resolution went in circles.It’s clear in these other reviews this is a recurring problem.Trying to gaslight customers into thinking their concerns are nonissues is ridiculous.

I received a Saarinen table that was not showroom quality. I verified that against the reference in the DWR show room, and the other marble pieces in my home.I checked with my girlfriend who grew up with this same table that is still to this day a brilliant white marble piece.. She can also see the dingy color gradient.It is clear that there is a color gradient on the top surface of this table. It looks like the coating was over sprayed, and cured yellow where it was thicker towards the middle. I communicated this simple fact early on, which seems to have fallen on deaf ears.I have recorded the tun around from the DWR Austin GM Annette Irazarry, who is not interested in communicating and resolving this issue.I can’t see how anyone would want to work with Knoll, Herman Miller, or DWR at this point to furnish their home or office.I’m left feeling sick to my stomach looking each day at a product that Earo Saarinen would be ashamed to see leaving the factory.

We bought a Dulwich Extension Table in October 2020. In February 2022 (4 months out the warranty period), one of the legs broke in two as shown in the pics.We knew these tables are made with a kind of wood which is soft -- and indeed our table has unavoidably collected, with the normal daily use, many small signs and scratches -- but seeing a leg snapping off in two was quite incredible. Ikea is definitely using better quality materials than DWR!The story ends with DWR giving us the opportunity to re-order the leg of the table at our expense, and with a 2 months shipping time.The single leg will cost us 295$ (pre-tax and without shipping), which is clearly an overcharged price. The whole table costed 2500$ (pre-taxes and without shipping). Since 295$x4=1180$, DWR is basically stating that about half of the value of our table lies in its 4 (brittle, as we have seen) legs.

We worked closely with Erin Till, she was fantastic! Very responsive and detail oriented. She helped us find a great new couch for our home. It was delivered on time and we just love it! We would certainly stop by DWR for any new home furnishings.

So I ordered a chair. I paid for the chair. There was a problem with my cc. I got an email asking me to call them. I waited on the phone for an hour. I updated my cc with someone on the phone. Now two months later, I’m in Mexico, I receive a PHONE CALL telling me I have two days to call them (again) because my chair is en route. I am not even in the country to receive the chair. Worst customer service ever…

We thought we liked DWR and have ordered quite a few things from them. However, after the run around we have gotten in trying to get a button fixed that came off of the seat of our brand new Eamse chair, I do not recommend getting your DWR products from the Austin location. Order online. Update from 1 to 3 stars: After forwarding the local communication email chain to the general DWR customer support, I received a call from the representative we had worked with at the local store apologizing and offering to send a replacement bottom cushion for our chair right away. Sounded like the color would match and it wouldn't be too hard to swap out. We were fine with that. Not sure why, but they ended up swapping out the entire chair and ottoman. Based on this I have updated my rating.

Dealing with shipping failure. DWR sent the wrong item and lost something we had waited 4 months to receive. Frustrating to have to manage incompetence.
