“Direct Care medicine with Dr. Larson at Euphora Health is a godsend. As a physician myself, I know very well the external pressures that fall on doctors in the traditional American healthcare model. Those pressures make even the most caring and thorough doctors have to spend less time than they would like with each individual patient, and of course patients are dissatisfied with that too. On the patient end, both myself personally and with watching loved ones, I've seen time and again how in that traditional model, finding and getting medical care can involve very long wait times, sometimes never even getting a response, or leaving appointments feeling hurried, unheard, frustrated, and sometimes even judged. It has been invaluable for me to know that whenever I have a health concern I can quickly reach Dr. Larson and have an unhurried conversation or even quick in person appt (often next day availability) where all my questions are answered. I never feel that subtle pressure to speed things up, and I don't feel worried that my concerns will be dismissed. I love having texting through an app instead of days-long turnaround through more bulky patient portals. And Dr. Larson himself is great. He is able to really spend time and consider you as a whole person rather than just isolated symptoms to address with with one medication after another. He recommends lifestyle changes and takes into consideration your personal situation and what options are the most doable and best fit for you. He's been a great source for recommending several ancillary services that have helped me too - be it highly recommended practitioners for back pain, meal prep services, mental health support, or whatever. I fully trust his medical education and knowledge, and I find his bedside manner to be caring and personable. It is also awesome to have the option to get labs there vs. going to long-wait, crowded commercial lab offices. And I love being able to get my flu shot there each year, because scheduling is so flexible and easy, and I really trust everyone at the office more than just a random chain pharmacy appointment. Even if I move elsewhere in the state, I will likely continue using Euphora health as my primary care. It would be well worth a drive when needed for in-person visits.”

“Dr. Brode has been a rock for me through so many years of ups and downs around my health concerns. He is so insanely knowledgeable, yet maintains a strong sense of care and kindness. He has treated and reassured me through so many road bumps in my medical care. His nurse, Jodi, is another rockstar. She works so hard and is always pleasant and often funny, despite pressures of nursing and seeing patients. Both of these providers are outstanding and deserve MANY accolades!!!!”

“Dr. Guerra is a unicorn in the world of primary care physicians. She takes time to look at the big picture and review the patient. If there is an issue, she is very good a requesting the right tests that allows her to do her analysis. I highly recommend Dr. Guerra.”

“My primary car physician is pausing her practice. I really liked my previous PCP, but Village Medical was very difficult to work with - basically non-responsive. So far (i.e. a week), One Medical seems to have their process worked out and well executed.

So, net, I am switching to Dr. Vadeja as my PCP. The office downtown on Congress is nice, all parts of my visit was smooth. They are clearly in start up mode as it was not crowded at all.

Bottom line, I am please and optimistic this is going to work well.”

He is now not my PCP but my husband's and our children's as well. He always make sure to answer any concerns or questions i have and love the the fact that we works his way with us so we can better understand and work any health problems. Managing a PCP practice is tough, particularly in Texas where they're saddled with managing all paperwork/referrals for anyone with a markeyplace insurance plan. They do a great job under really difficult circumstances.”

“The staff, doctor as well as the nurses are all very nice and attentive. They take the time to listen and take plenty of notes and seem to actually check those notes. Seems like something you should see at every doctor's office but sadly, that hasn't been my experience and I've lost a lot of faith in the medical industry.I have a lot of health issues that I've had to deal with since I was young with the ups and downs that come with it. It was really nice to finally find people that would actually take me seriously and not just write me off... because of my weight or my seemingly difficult or unsolvable health issues.Because of them, I was finally able to find out that part of my health issues are due to an adrenal gland disorder... I'd been to so many other doctors and they would be dismissive and tell me they didn't notice anything, didn't order any tests, tell me it's because I'm overweight, I have diabetes, it's fatty liver...Family Medicine Austin, ran lots of tests and sent me out to get imaging and make sure there wasn't anything they were missing. I can really appreciate medical staff that take the time to really listen and care about their patients. I'm truly grateful.”
