The store manager (I'm sorry I forgot your name) and Ruben were very kind. At first my wife didn't find her size that she wanted but Ruben went out of his way to make my wife's experience at this location amazing. Thank you for showing us visitors love.

I recently had an outstanding experience with Pat, the Assistant Manager at JD store in Barton Creek Square Mall. In January, I purchased a pair of "On Cloud 5" tennis shoes from JD's San Antonio location. Unfortunately, I began experiencing discomfort with the left shoe. Upon visiting the Barton Creek Mall store, I was delighted to be assisted by Pat.
Pat's professionalism and genuine care for customers were evident from the start. Not only did he offer to replace my shoes, but he also ensured that the new pair fit comfortably. It's refreshing to encounter such exceptional customer service, especially when it doesn't matter where the initial purchase was made.
Pat truly went above and beyond to address my concerns and provide a positive shopping experience. His dedication to customer satisfaction and his friendly demeanor make him an invaluable asset to JD. It's encounters like this that foster long-lasting relationships between customers and their favorite retail stores.
I highly recommend JD at Barton Creek Square Mall and, in particular, commend Pat for his remarkable service. His commitment to ensuring customers leave happy and well-taken care of is truly commendable and deserves recognition.

I bought some boxers but the cashier forgot to remove the security alarm… I had to go back after 30 minutes of arriving home. I tried to remove it by myself and I couldn't, when I returned to the store they told me that they couldn't do anything for me since I had tried to remove the alarm on my own and that I had to finish trying, I did and that's how my boxers ended up… in short, the store forgot to remove the plastic and they didn't give me the option to change the boxers.

Came for a shoe pick up and was told to wait on the side of the line. Waited for 30 minutes with every worker avoiding eye contact with me. I just cancelled my order and walked out. I know it's just a job, but the workers here really don't care at all lol. I don't even give this bad of a service at my own job!

This store is a disgrace to the company, the manager pretended that he could not find my purchase to simply refuse to return, then when he found it, he said that he believes that I wore these sneakers (because the pattern on the sole has dots), but he did not understand and just said that he refuses to return, when I brought him from the shelf the same pair of sneakers in the same condition, he said that he still refuses because it is his opinion, turned around and left with the words that I should leave!
Such people can not work as managers, even the cashiers stood shocked at what is happening, it is a disgrace and disgusting store.

Customer service is terrible. Staff was nonchalant and just paid no attention. Needed a size 9. She didn’t say a word and walked off. Ten minutes later i still didn’t get the shoes and saw her standing somewhere talking to someone else.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
Our 15 year old daughter purchased some Nike's for $150.00 on 9/23/24. She wore them on 9/24/24 and that evening she informed me there was a defect with the inside stitching in one of her shoes. My daughter asked if I would exchange the shoes for the exact same pair. The following day, September 26, I went to JD's at the Barton Creek Mall to exchange the shoes for a non-defective pair.
Upon my arrival, I was informed by the in-store customer service representative (CSR) that due to the shoes being worn, an in-store exchange or return was not possible. I explained that the only way Alex could identify the defect was to wear the shoes. The CSR then suggested I contact the toll-free customer service number for further assistance but failed to offer me the number, which I then requested.
After calling the customer service number, the toll-free CSR confirmed that the in-store CSR could not process an exchange. However, after leaving the store, the toll-free CSR informed me that the in-store CSR could facilitate a FedEx return label. Upon returning to the store, the in-store CSR stated she had never processed a return label and would need the toll-free CSR to guide her through the process, which information I passed on to the toll-free CSR. Unfortunately, the toll-free CSR (Tyra) didn’t immediately call the store, so the in-store-CSR contacted the toll-free number.
After spending my entire lunch break navigating this issue, I was informed by the store manager that she would be handling the return transaction via FedEx. I requested to take pictures since I would be sending the shoes and the receipt to the company. After about an hour, I left the store with no shoes and the hopes for an exchange.
Today is 10/9/24 and I have no shoes and no refund. Pretty sure that's not how it's supposed to work.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU AVOID THIS PLACE.
JDs please do not respond with your generic response, that will only annoy me more.

If i could give it a lower score i would. I asked for shoes TWICE & i waited for over 20-30 minutes just to never get them. When i went to ask the worker if he went to get them he literally walked off. There was also multiple people in the store experiencing this too

My stepson had shoes purchased for him that were a size too small. I brought them back to JD Sports with no receipt within 48 hours to try to exchange them. I thought we were going to have to order his size but Kylie searched high and low to find his size in store same day. Kylie was a great help and I am very appreciative!
