Friendly Rio Market is a unique and great place with total campus vibes, located near the University of Texas at Austin in West Campus. The atmosphere is very chill and comfortable, with owners who are super nice, extremely friendly, truly caring, and some of the sweetest people on earth. They have created a community atmosphere and are sheer geniuses for hosting live music from local bands some nights, even inside the convenience store, which is so much fun. The store offers a nice selection of convenience items, a number of healthy options, the biggest selection of Pocky and chips, Swedish candy, a beer cave, and a ping-pong table. There is a sweet pup who can sometimes be seen there. They also have a self honor system checkout. This kind of stuff only happens in Austin.
Not just your every day convenience store. The selection is normal but holy moly the people are so friendly. And there are concerts every Friday! It's a community spot. Thank you Rio Market

Best convenience store in Austin. They have the best selection of snacks and drinks that are not available at regular stores. They have some product that I never knew existed. They even have their own merchandise. I recommend stopping by on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 to 10 for live music, the shows are completely free.
