I work with people who are homeless due to complex medical issues and HEB Pharmacy has so much room for improvement in assisting this population. Their staff has told me they won't deliver to a shelter, transitional housing, group home, etc.. I have people with advanced cancer, vomiting from chemo, who have to take the bus to HEB because of this cruel policy. Their staff don't offer any alternatives, they just sing, "We don't deliver to shelters, have a nice day!" like there's nothing behind the eyes.

I get a different (conflicting) story from every person I talk to about why my prescription isn’t available. I finally was able to get a discount code to the person on the phone, and she told me it processed properly and that I could pick up my medication in an hour. I arrive and there’s no prescription and no one even can find anything about the coupon code or that the scrip was supposed to be filled at all. The supervisor took zero responsibility for all of the incorrect and conflicting information I was given, gave me more conflicting info, and rudely asked if there’s Anything Else. Now I get to go another night without the medicine I need.That’s just this time. I have had multiple instances where a medication was supposed to be ready but someone at the pharmacy dropped the ball and either didn’t send what they needed to to the doctor, or somehow took my meds out of the queue for no reason, or sent it back to the doc because they didn’t understand the dosage (which was clear)—all resulting in long delays on medicines that I’m supposed to take every day.

Takes forever and a day to get anything there. God help you if you go there after work…you will be in line a loooooong time, even if there are only a couple people waiting. I don’t know why they don’t have more people working there. Also, they close at 8pm weekdays. Best go to HEB Hancock. Shorter wait times and they’re open later. (Also a better store overall.)

This HEB pharmacy is a mess. I understand that they’re busy, but they're clearly not staffed appropriately for the volume of customers who come through this location. Wait times in their car line are usually 35-45 minutes, and even if you get a text telling you your prescription is ready they’ll often tell you it’s going to be another 45 minutes once you arrive to pick it up. It’s just such a waste of time for no reason. The staff is generally nice about it, but nice only goes so far!

Horrible pharmacy! Very unprofessional. Told today my prescription transfer would take four hours and would be done by noon. Come to find out they never called to get my prescription. Save yourself time and energy and just go somewhere else.

11:50 vax appt. Showed up at noon. It is now 12:23pm and still waiting. Haven't seen anyone come or go from the vax door. No idea what is going on and the ppl at pharmacy can't say anything other than "they'll call your name soon"

Pharmacy is awful. Yesterday, someone put me on hold for 20 minutes and just never came back. I had to call on a different line to get through. They keep telling me my prescription can't be refilled even though my doctor's office sent over the script 3 times in a week yet they've offered no other solution to resolving the matter.

Slow and inconsiderate. I sat in the line 45 minutes and was told it would be another 10 and to go sit another 45 minutes waiting in line again but yet I waited 10 minutes for them to take care of the customer next to me. The lady to me 1 of my prescriptions was ready and the manager says she was wrong neither is ready, I drove off and called immediately to transfer my prescriptions to a different pharmacy and the lady then says do you want me to put the prescription back somebody is lying is it ready or not!

The people that work here will straight up lie to your face telling you it's a prior authorization issue with your insurance. Then you find out the real issue is that they never ran it through your insurance in the first place?! My insurance has been the same since March of this year!

Not sure if it is this location or if it is the HEB app, but I this is the 5th or 6th time y'all have given me the, "your script isn't ready yet, even though the app told me to pick it up today and I scheduled it in advance.""It's allctually because of the warehouse, oh you actually need that medication because there is serious consequences to not taking it for a day? Cool. we'll have that ready in 30 minutes actually."Seriously get it together. I'm done with the app and this location. Literally all of my negative experiences with HEB pharmacy started happening after I changed to this mueller location and started using the app. When I used to call in at the other locations for years, I never had any issues.You'll also wait half an hour in a line of 2 people consistently at this location fair warning.

Discharged from the hospital yesterday. Came in today to pick up 6 of my medications. They don't have anything and won't until the 11th. I was told that this was because they are a high volume pharmacy. I don't think they know what that means.Like why would you accept a prescription that you can't fulfill? I have heart medication that I am picking up. I now can't get a hold of my doctor to move prescriptions to a different pharmacy. If I end up in the hospital this weekend, I'm holding this pharmacy liable

Pharmacy is awful, spoke with a woman yesterday who was rude and condescending on the phone. Told me my prescription would be ready that day. That's great it's a medication for cold sores so I need to start it as soon as possible. I go in and they say Saturday they get a new shipment and they can't fill it. Then I was told by a man that they could fill it tomorrow (Friday) and have it by 10 for sure. I came in today at 10:20 and told again it wasn't ready and they won't have it till Saturday and they wouldn't ever fill prescriptions in the way I said and that the man on the phone was wrong. They then tell me that all the other HEBs have it and I should have just transfered it and I could have picked it up the first day of I had.. Idk why they wouldn't just let me know that right then. Awful customer service. Very rude and very lazy.

This is my favorite pharmacy. They are alway so fast for being so constantly busy. The drive thru service is great and usually speedy… it depends on the people in front of you really not the staff for the most part.

Bunch of Irresponsible and incompetent pharmacists and partners. Never filled a prescription on time. Every time you go they say 20 minutes even after raising the refill online. Sometimes they say they don't have stock and will get only after 2 days, suddenly they say, it will be ready in 20 minutes if I can wait. How the hell suddenly they get it just a moment before they say it's out of stock. The HEB manager needs to answer.

After two unsuccessful attempts, (including rude and unhelpful interactions with pharmacy staff) to get a Shingles vaccination at two different CVS pharmacies, I called HEB pharmacy to see if they had the vaccine. They answered on the first ring and confirmed they had it and that an appointment was not necessary. I headed there and within 15 minutes I was in and out. Their staff was extremely helpful and friendly and professional, the exact opposite of CVS.While I've been shopping at HEB since moving to Austin in 2021, I was unaware they had a pharmacy. It's tucked away towards a wall next to an aisle I normally don't shop. But for all future needs, I'll definitely be going here.
