Was charged a $250 smoking fee and didn’t smoke in the room. We had been clubbing all night and of course we both smelled like smoke. Tried to explain this to staff and was told that it wasn’t anything that they could and the fee.Nearby activities: Downtown Austin 6th Street

I had a wonderful experience with Broderick at the front desk he was accommodating and was helpful with places to eat . The hotel was clean and quiet and our room was nice and housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the hostess was very friendly and helpful. Overall our stay was great and we will return when in Austin .

This hotel staff and overall experience was AWFUL. They checked me into my room that I had pre-reserved to find that someone was already sleeping in there! After then assigning a new room the key didn’t work and we requested staff accompany us to the room to resolve, once the door opened the room had been occupied and bed was not made. We requested another room and walked around the hotel with all of our belongings until 3am. The manager at this facility had VERY POOR customer service and stated that we would get a refund for the awful experience. We have had to elevate this even further with Hilton. Do NOT recommend.

I checked into our rooms via the Hilton app and reserved our room. We arrived at 3 am very tired and ready to sleep. We got to the door and it was locked and no one was at the desk to let us in the hotel. After waiting a woman outside smoking got up to help after she was done. I requested a physical key for myself and my partner for our room. When we went to our room and were unable to open the door. We could not get into the room so she made us a new key. We went back and were still unable to enter. After multiple attempts I requested the attendant come with because the keys were not working. When the door was opened someone else was in the room. This was extremely embarrassing but also scary as the person in the room was upset by this happening at almost 4am. This is a huge security and privacy concern for myself and the guest that was in the room. At this point I wanted to leave but after driving for 15hrs and unloading my entire vehicle I was not able to safely relocate at 4 am. We went back to the front desk and I was given a key to another room that the bed had been slept in and it was filthy. By the 3 room the bed was clean but there was a live roach. The next day I talked to the manager Jamar who offered to refund the stay. He lied to us and told us our room had been moved without notice because they were going to upgrade us which isn’t possible because we had a king which is the best room they offer. He continued to put the blame on us for using the app to check in. I wanted to check out and call Hilton honors and he offered to refund the visit. We left it at that and withheld our formal complaint and now a month later I have not seen a refund it and tried to follow up with him. He stated that we have to call to get it refunded from Hilton. I iterated that to him he never mentioned this and he raised his voice at me and told me I’m cutting him off and he did say this and hung up the phone.This is very unlike any Hilton I have stayed at and highly unprofessional. I will be escalating this to corporate. I love Hilton but this location needs huge corrective action if it maintains to be apart of the brand. I encourage anyone who still chooses to stay there after reading this to document all interactions with the manager Jamar as he is a professional gaslighter.

Update: I was awakened at 4:30 am by a woman ranting even though I was wearing earplugs, because of normal highway noise. Three or four women were carrying on a heated conversation next door. It was clearly coming from a crack under the wall about 1/2 inch high and six feet long. I could get all of my fingers underneath the wall. I tried stuffing towels in it, but there was no effect. I could see light coming under the wall from their room. They were still going when we left at 6:15.This motel is of a class where people can afford to rent rooms to talk all night instead of sleep. We were happy the last time we stayed here and I gave a 5 star review, but if they can't even provide a place to sleep, what good is it?The desk clerk is no longer friendly. He seemed annoyed at having to do his job.

My reservation was made over a phone call, all the information needed was taken, that included my payment card. I received an email with the confirmation number but when I arrived I handed my ID and even showed my phone with all the info but the guy was barely communicating and doing a poor customer service and we had to do it all over again ANYWAYS one of our pillows had blood stains ???? that made us think none of the pillowcases or anything was clean, we had 3 babies with us so just imagine the feeling plus it was a noisy night. Hallway was dirty too. Horrible experience. I did express my disappointment and concern to the lobby attendant but he seemed not to care.

Alright, maaaaaybe I'm a little biased.I had stayed at a Hampton where the facilities were considerably updated (less than a week ago and in a different state). The availability of plugs at this location were very inadequate without moving furniture.Not a big deal.Super nice dude checked us in up front, there is a $5 parking fee (self parking should be free??) as well as $50 returnable deposit reqd at check in.Although not at all Hampton Inn's fault, some prick put their Buffalo wild wings platter directly in front of our room door, so we were greeted with that when we got back from the bar. Being vegetarian I don't really like to smell that in the morning when I'm very hungover.Overall:❤️Pros:★Super close to freeway, so you can get cheap Uber/Lyft.★Breakfast bar was great, with options for water, AJ, OJ and blueberry water.★The staff was so gd nice.★SO CLEAN and not smoky.Cons:★The elevator is questionable at best, sketchy at worst.★no bathroom exhaust fan. I'm not trying to share that smell with anyone (especially my fiancee)★No bedside plugs for bedside charging.★$5 parking fee, and its self parking to boot.I'd most certainly stop here again.. knowing what I know now, I'd at least be prepared.

Our stay at this hotel was RESTFULLY and ENJOYABLE with warm welcome of our arrival Saturday September 29th-October 1st, 2023, we was visiting from LOUISIANA a family who NOW play College Football at TEXAS LONGHORNS COLLEGE and THEY WON ? and our stay here was like at home EVERYONE was NICE and HELPFUL and OUR Room was FRESH, CLEAN and MORE, Breakfast was GREAT as well, THANKS EVERYONE for making our STAY GREAT ? we shall BE BACK SOON ? go TEXAS LONGHORNS COLLEGE! and This HOTEL for making it a GREAT WEEKEND GETAWAY ? ☺️ ? ? ?

The hotel was very clean and up-kept well. Both staff members that I encountered at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I didn’t get to experience the free breakfast but it did smell good on my way out. The room was very clean and very comfortable. For a 1 night getaway this sure was a very good choice.

Very nice and clean. Only issue was that my room was near the pool and I could hear the guest as if they were in the room with me. By no means were they loud but next time I will request a different room, only because I have to be up at 4am and I am a light sleeper.

I said I was going to give this review so that's what I'm going to do. Went there because our job was in the area and the boss for it was a cheapskate who doesn't actually review our accommodations. 1st off location is terrible area looks like a spot where junkies meet to do drugs and no one can hear you scream in the abandoned building next to it. Where youll find rotting bodies and needles under the bridge. The hotel it's self is clean nothing special 2 star type of place get in get out. The elevator is always broken, and when its fixed the other one is broken literally this happened the whole 2weeks we were there. Heard fighting strangers knocking on my door and running down the halls on nights even loud crying dont even wanna know what that was about!! Let's get to the staff! The morning girl quiet fine with that breakfast and house keeping sweet nice people. /the afternoon desk workers for 3pm people are unhelpful, lazy, rude Ghetto and dont forget disorganized. Especially the younger small lightskin/mexican i dont know what she is girl. They got our reservations wrong multiple times. Had to threaten to have our superior cancel our companies stay there to get our room situation rectified. Showed clear favoritism when it came to getting accommodations and having issues with rooms fixed she even gave someone who lost their key a key to our room they were not booked in our room. The night staff is cool. Broderic is a god send. He's polite helpful well mannered and on top of things. Honestly he deserves better. There's an older white security guard doesn't talk much but doesn't bother anybody and does his job. I didn't see the other security guy much a black guy seems nice and welcoming. But yea don't go there just dont.

My car was kept safe by the security in the parking lot. That was my biggest concern with the recent string of vehicle break ins around the area. $5 to have a guard on site is worth being able to sleep through the night without panic when you hear a noise. Its a hotel not a resort. I understand that.

Every single staff member I interacted with were extremely helpful and nice. It’s a great spot to stay for a few days, I didn’t have any problems and the room was clean.

Terrible Hilton Property!!! Dirty and I overheard the manager berate a customer while I entered hotel. I immediately turned around and left. Hilton needs to investigate this facility and management. I only wish I had gotten the manager s name so I could report him to Hilton! A very rude black man who has no manners. I really felt sorry for to poor customer.....no one should be treated like that by a Hilton manager! Also empty the outside trash!! And clean up the lobby since you are supposedly a Hilton Property!Safety: I immediately felt threatened!
