I am currently in a line 15 customers deep. I have been here for 30 minutes and only 1 person has gotten their car assigned in this time. The man in front of me has been here 20 minutes longer and he said only 1 other person has gotten their car while he has been waiting. All the other rental agency lines are sailing through. Very disappointed in Hertz once again....... update now 90 minutes and still in line. 5 people have left and went to Avis and made it out with cars. No communication from staff.

Pure 1-star energy at this rental facility. One counter open, line 30 people deep, they move through about one person every 15 minutes

Quick check in. Had just the SUV that we needed for family trip to state fair, in Dallas. And we were at full capacity, with 8!!

The pick up of the vehicle and the vehicle itself was fine.
However, on the $100.26 charge, Hertz added on an additional $18.25.
Their bill showed the prepaid $14.99 total charge but I did not use any toll roads.
While waiting for my flight to depart, I contacted Hertz. When the AI assistant cannot resolve my issue, I actually waited Online and had a live chat.
Their agent informed me that the additional charge was for “airport concession fee””.
When I pointed out that that charge had already been included in my additional $100.26 that I had prepaid, They basically said there was nothing that they could do and reiterated that the additional $18+ was for “airport, concession fee””.
I Reiterated that that charge had already been included in my original prepaid fee and they basically said (not in so many words) “too bad so sad”.
Even if you prepaid your bill with Hertz, I strongly advise that you check the final receipt that they email you closely.
This is NOT the first time, that this has happened to me with Hertz!

Hertz is the worst company to rent from, period. They charged my company 2x incorrect amounts, 1 $3,600 for a rental I never even had. And 1 time for a rental that I put the correct card into their card reader but it charged a card that’s not a preferred card on my app 3 different charges!
Sounds shady, right?! It is!!
Their employees are insanely rude when you need help, they give away the car you actually paid to reserve and don’t even wash/clean the interiors. what’s are we paying for????

Be aware of repricing shenanigans if you arrive late for your rental! Doubled my rental contract price due to late arrival for ATC and airline delays…even a President Circle member like me didn’t get any favorable treatment. Good people and nice car, but company policy on this scenario needs to change… so beware if this happens to you while traveling, glad they still had a vehicle for me, but not getting gouged over twice the amount originally reserved for.

Only person that was friendly was lady at counter everyone else on car floor needs retraining in customer service . Took an extra 30min on top of 2 hours to get a car. Systems were down, I get that , other checkout counters outside were going a lot faster. We asked to let us over by staff and were told we had best operator to leave garage and didn’t get any help.

Auto-Upgraded to a full sized truck, which we could park no where and were charged an oversized fee at our hotel. Also, added charges to the bill that look made up.
Concession recovery fee, vehicle license fee, facility fee. This is how they tack on an extra $90 to your bill.

Terrible, I dropped my rental off two hours ahead of time, filled with gas and cleaned out. Just to get my bill the next morning over double that I was quoted, the check in time was manipulated and changed to show I dropped it off allegedly 7 hours after I actually dropped it off so they could charge me extra $200 as well as a $12 dollar late fee. Can’t make this up. As you can see in the pictures below was my original quote and what I was sent this morning, these are also pictures of me dropping the vehicle off and you can see the time on the last picture shows two hours before my scheduled drop off time. Unfortunate, I am dealing with this, I will never do business with Hertz again and do not recommend them at all.

Great experience although definitely fill up the fuel yourself before returning, it saved me $50 by doing so. Put $20 in the tank but the refuel fee if I hasn't was $70, which is insane, basically robbery
