About Hertz Car Rental - Austin - Austin-bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
Hertz Car Rental at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport provides a generally good and fast service. The experience is often outstanding, with friendly and professional staff who assist customers efficiently. The process can be very easy, with options for online check-in. Cars are typically clean and well maintained. However, customers should be cautious of added charges and fees, such as concession recovery, vehicle license, and facility fees, which can significantly increase the bill. There is also a strong recommendation to refuel the car personally before returning to avoid a high refuel fee. Some customers report unexpected upgrades to larger vehicles that incur oversized parking fees.

Simple pick up and drop off. The Nissan kick was difficult to get the climate controls to display to use and the vehicle didn't seem to cool well.

Super easy in and out at check in and even faster at return.

Hertz counter closed and all were directed to the Avis counter. With only two counters open, service was slow.
