“This is the closest game shop to my neighborhood, and I’ve been in several times to buy gifts for friends and employees, as well as a game or two/accessory for myself. The owner and employees there have always treated me nicely and gave me the time of day. Sometimes niche places like this aren’t very female friendly, especially if you don’t know a lot about what you’re looking for/need to buy for someone, but I’ve always felt very welcomed here. I hope it continues to stick around, and people consider buying here every once in a while rather than Amazon or Online, because the next closet place like it is quite a drive in traffic from the Cedar Park/Lakeline area.”

“I forgot his name but he seemed like mid 20’s, curly haired guy was awesome. I was looking for a Christmas gift for my daughter she wanted an RC car. I have very limited knowledge of electric RC’s when I was growing up it was all nitro. He filled me in answered every question I had and helped me come up with a solution for her learning on an RC than being able to speed it up when shes comfortable. I just came to look and get an idea but with the knowledge he had I was able to comfortably commit to buying one then and there. I know she is going to love it.”

“I love Toy Joy and I'm thrilled with this new location! Need to buy a whimsical gift for someone? Or need someplace indoors to go for fun and to avoid the texas heat? Toy Joy is your place! There's an amazing little cafe located in Toy Joy towards the back that serves up delicious sweets, unique ice cream flavors, and coffee, so check it out before you browse around. There's also a fun selection of candies located in this back area that you won't find in your usual grocery store selection, so more finds to fulfill that sweet tooth. I love how Toy Joy isn't just a place for kids but really does appeal to adults too. There's such a wide array of products that span so many fandoms, from Harry Potter to Star Wars to anime and so much more. There are infinite options to buy gifts, such as quirky and funny knick knacks, board games, mugs, etc. My favorite section is the wonderful ornaments area that has all kinds of unique and fun decor to hang on your Christmas tree (my most recent purchase was a Chinese takeout container!). I have my eyes set on pizza and ramen ornaments next! I can always lose myself in Toy Joy for a while, perusing the shelves with all their whimsy. I love this new location and their cafe, so please check them out!”

I called them with a need of a school banner for the new School of Health Sciences at St. Edward's University for an event that is actually TOMORROW (8/23/24), and they were on it! They were super welcoming, accommodating, efficient, and made my experience quite memorable. Another company told me that it would be October before we could get the banner; however, these great folks DELIVERED - before time!! I was kept abreast of the entire process, and I am filled with gratitude that I was led to choose them as a service provider. Thank you guys for being so AMAZING!!”

“I always find so many lovely treasures here! I love the mix of carved and raw and fun pieces! It’s always been a calm space to explore. There’s a bunch of things in this small space but it doesn’t feel crammed together.”
