I haven't been to this location in many years due to terrible cleanliness and unfriendliness from previous management. Amanda the new store manager is excellent and the place is very clean and tidy now. I will shop here again instead of Helzberg across the way. Picked up a Neil lane ring !

I went in looking for a reasonably priced chain and pendant for my son. Admittedly, I was prepared for a hard sell and pushy workers trying to get me to buy something I didn't want or need. I found out that in fact the exact opposite was true. Ysa helped me find a beautiful item that was exactly in my budget that I came in wanting to spend. He was very nice and there was no upsell at all, HE was the one that actually steered me away from higher priced items and showed me a great option that was perfect. Extremely friendly and helpful and I had a great experience there and will definitely be back!

The past 3 times I’ve been into Kay I’ve had a great experience and fantastic help from Esa. Not only did he help me pick out the right jewelry for my wife but he also got me the best deal for my spending limit! I will continue to shop at the Barton creek mall location just because of his great customer service.

The other day, I went to pick up my ring and not even an hour. I had to take it back because then stone cone out again. I was not very happy, but they made it right. One of the guys had bought me this necklace. I live by this prayer ? and he really made my day.. This was at the traverse city store.

What has happened to Kay’s?!?! The store at Barton Creek mall has gone down hill. I am definitely going to pay my card off and cut it up. Zales and Helzberg have better customer service, they will have my business from now on!!

Went in for a minor repair on a pair of earrings that only needed a Pearl to be replaced on May 5th, was informed how I would be called by Tuesday or Wednesday. Never received an update or call, almost 3 weeks later after sending this to the facility for repair I finally get a call only to advise me that repair would literally be the same price as if I were to buy the earrings as new. Ysa the “assistant manager” did not provide exceptional customer service, was quite rude during my entire experience. Other associates didn’t even greet, such an unpleasant attitude from the employees here. Truly baffled that even the assistant manager for this store location would speak to his customers in the way he did. Save your time & money by not shopping at Kay Jewelers.

2 weeks of false promises, miscommunication and unorganization. Hours waisted in the store. Got so fed up literally walked to the store right across from kay to a place called Helzberg. I was welcomed with such professionalism and respect and walked out with the perfect ring my fiance wanted. I've used kay Jewlers for years. My fiance has plentiful of jewelry from them but no longer. We will consistently use Helzberg. Based on our kay experience and the fact that the same ring was $1000 cheaper.

I love this place. Kay jewelers never makes me feel rushed. The manager Ysa is super personable, knowledgeable, and remembers you every time you walk in. I won’t be buying my jewelry anywhere else. Smooth and easy transaction. Thanks again! Ysa has always been so helpful, and I would refer him to anyone I know looking for jewelry.

Ysa and Sarah were great and very helpful. They helped me find the perfect bracelet for my Nieces sweet 15 and helped me open a new account. I was in and out in less than 30 min. Thanks for the help!

I will never ever ever shop at Kay again. This is one of the worst businesses in the United States. Buy your jewelry anywhere else. I'm at your store to return a terrible product that your terrible salesman sold me the store is closed at 10:25 yet it says open. Never again

I purchased a Movado at this Kay recently and needed a couple of links removed. This proved difficult for the jeweler and as the store was closing I offered to return the following day so as not to hold them.The following day I was informed the watch was not ready and the staff did not know when it would be. I asked to speak to a manager (Meghan) who was extremely rude and dismissive.I did receive my watch later however the rude service from management is inexcusable. I won't return and do not recommend this Kay Jeweler location
