Based on the reviews, MAN SHACK ANTIQUES is one of the last reasonably priced antique shops in Austin. The store has a great variety of vintage and obscure treasures, with an interesting and very varied collection that is nicely set up and easy to move around in. Customers find the prices reasonable and better than other vintage spots around town. The staff is friendly, and the owner has a knack for finding cool things. Even just browsing, visitors are sure to find something interesting. The shop kitty is delightful, and there is SO MUCH to look at, making it a fantastic way to spend an hour or 3. It is the best old/odd stuff on the south side.

Came in for a scavenger hunt today, looking for a rotary phone, had a great time talking to the staff and hearing a bunch of cool stories about the different treasures here. Will come again!

I don't think there's been a visit where I haven't left without buying something. One of the last reasonably priced antique shops in Austin. The owner, Nate, has a knack for finding some of the coolest things. Probably because he's pretty cool himself.
