“What an amazing experience! Excellent customer service and lovely people! High quality clean vintage furniture at a fair price. I am in love with my Nathan dining table and chairs from the 1960s. Impeccable.”
“I've been dealing with Austin Rare Coins for over twenty years and they are the BEST!!
Always reachable and honest, they do what they say. Ryan Denby is the man to trust.
Bruce Weintraub”
“Fantastic service and a great price too! The customer service was great and they fixed my 15 year old lamp in 15 minutes. Truly I was so impressed and grateful to save my lamp rather than having to buy a new one. Definitely check them out if you need a lamp repaired!”
“Everyone here is super nice and helpful, and they got a good chunk of change from me when my wife and I needed to decorate our new home. Of all the vintage places in the area, Room Service for sure has the best mix of inventory, pricing, and vibes. Plus there's such good shopping and food right up the street, it's really hard not to justify a trip here on Saturdays.”
“Came in for a scavenger hunt today, looking for a rotary phone, had a great time talking to the staff and hearing a bunch of cool stories about the different treasures here. Will come again!”
“Kevin was super nice and helpful. I had picked out a table but needed to go empty my car and come back. He had the table out front for me when I got back and helped me pick out some really rad chairs to go with it. It fits perfectly in the space and is a great new addition to our home. I love this place and all its old Austin vibes.”
“Me and my brother went in with 10 minutes to look around..I wish we would've had more time..this place is awesome and the people are very genuine.i recommend the experience to everyone..”
“What a cool space! It’s a stylish salon combined with an eclectic vintage store! The building is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside and the prices are very solid/reasonable. You can wonder around in there and get lost for a while. I loved the assortment of cute knick knacks and original art. Also! I noticed these signs to not park at Michi Raman on my way in. After reading past reviews I’m glad I did…definitely dodged a bullet. This a whole little strip is great. Glad I wondered by.”

“Went originally down the street where I wasn’t helped and the place was messy, came here and was instantly greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything.
Very helpful store owner and helped me complete my OCP’s!
Will definitely come back should I need anything more - Highly recommend!”
“Really interesting fellow. He showed me this philips keyboard from possibly the late 80s that uses NMB dome with slider switches. But the crazy thing is that the sliders are shaped differently than the ones found in the Dell QuietKey! I think this board changes the history as we know it of NMB switches— this board has some kind of precursor or gen 0 version of the quietkey switch. The feeling isn’t amazing tho”
“Beautiful items. The gentleman working this past Tuesday went above & beyond and gave me a map of other vintage stores to check out in Austin. Thank you for your friendly service ?”
“so many incredible relics, chairs, desks… got a desk for $1 (anything that’s been there longer than 4-6 months becomes $1). 100% recommend and come early ?”
“I used to live above Apt F, and thank god I did because my incense collection is otherworldly. Amazing home goods, wonderfully sourced textiles, and truly the most warm and welcoming staff. Never regret popping in here.”
“If you like seek and find puzzles then you’d love Out of the Past. It’s a super compact, not so tidy, antique shop that will amaze you with its variety. This store embodies with good, the bad, the ugly…and I love it! Also, the pricing is pretty good too.”

“What brought me here was a Turkish TikTok influencer that informed me about Aleppo Soap. I prefer to go to brick and mortars especially for things I haven't tried and I was searching for establishments that might have the soap, and in one picture this place posted, was what looked like the soap. Leslie was so nice and answered my questions and told me about the owner and how she sources her wares. I loved the perfumes, and I love the soap! I also bought a scarf which I will wear the next time I go to an Orthodox monastery. I told Leslie, the perfume was for my daughter (that she wanted Jasmine and wasn't finding whatvshe wanted elsewhwre) and I splurged on the scarf as an early birthday gift. She wrapped them for me! I felt so special because probably no one else will do that for me this year. 10 out of 10 place. This is a much higher quality place than other eastern stores you see in malls. Personable and all the jewelry although high in dollars is real stone and real metal. Nothing cheaply made. A gift from here tells the person you are gifting that they truly are special and that they deserve genuine artisan crafted and quality ingredient gifts. I will gladly return to this place and definitely buy more soap and maybe one of those amazing picture frames!”

“Excellent and out of this world taste in antiques. I recently bought a China hutch and it looks stunning in out new barndominium. Thanks Greg (CEO/Owner) for your great customer service. I highly recommend if you want a unique piece — come to Old Europe Antique Home Furnishings - one of a kind!”
“Amazing paper exhibit! We got to see an ordinal Gutenberg press and bible. We learned about the early days of book printing and binding. To think that you'd buy a book as a stack of papers, and select an artist binder. The samples were like jewelry. Learning about how playwrights work with directors to try and recreate what's in their imagination was fascinating.”
“This is cool antique store, it’s so annoying that you get these “reviewers” with an ax to grind and project their issues onto the store. Obviously I’ve never had an issue being let in or out of this store that’s absurd and the owner is knowledgeable and helpful, I guess to some, being intelligent and well versed in your field is “pompous”. I never have a bad experience here, of course I’m not looking for one either.”
“Great business, Great people! Highly recommended! Won 5 lots from auction. The Guys that helped us load were very nice and helpful! Will hopefully purchase more items in the near future!”
“The owner Hussein is very nice. He gave me a big hug and a coupon today! I only bought a headdress from him today but I will be back for more later! He has such an awesome place!!”
