I live closer to the Petco in Pflugerville, but I drive all the way to this PetSmart whenever I need something, because I greatly prefer their service and selection. I also really enjoy the annual pet photos with Santa!!

I purchased 50 feeder fish and 50 percent of them died. These are gold fish also known as Comets they are generally very hardy and grow up to be about 8 to 10 inches and I stock my pond with them. Much cheaper than Koi and as beautiful as the common Koi. They are generally very easy to raise. I took those dead back with a water sample and they reluctantly provided me with 25 more. I continued to have die offs and I'm down to 25 that do look healthy after a few months of good feeding and care. I believe they are not getting quality fish. I have done this same procedure a number of times and usually get no more than about 5 percent loss.

Took my pet in for annual immunizations, paid for a pedicure, and the service was not performed. Called to find out why, was told I would receive a call back, that didn't happen...Also, signage reading buy 2 get the third for free for some toys, was ignored and so after leaving I found that I paid full price for everything....This must be a very busy location. I was asked to come in an hour before my scheduled visit, which I agreed to, only to wait in line to drop off my pet, and was left to wait 20 minutes after arrival. Having to avoid the animal urine on the floor in front of the check-in desk....Continuously encouraged to sign up for a plan I had already told the staff I was not ready to commit to, once at check in and again by phone...while my pet was being immunized... I felt bad because they made it seem like I was not giving my pet the best care she could receive....Banfield Hospital and petsmart customer service should be a little more attentive to its customers...I would suggest finding a vet outside of a big box store...My overall experience was not good...

this is my dog, brody. i took him to this petsmart for the first time to get a haircut. he has always gone to petsmart for haircuts for the past 6 years and had no problem being completed. this location claimed they could not finish his haircut and gave him back to me looking like this. i understand safety, but this has never been a problem at any other location over the past 6 years. if you want your dog to get a solid haircut with no problems, take them to cedar park or leander! DO NOT take them here.

Train your cashiers. I brought back dog food, Received a credit and purchased canned dog food and owed three dollars and change, but cashier could not ring it up. Tried new cash register and three different credit cards, and she still could not ring it up. Went to HEB, no problem.

Long story short. Pet care associate and cashier were very rude, both talked to me in and unpleasant tone and the cashier sighed loudly and shook her head at me. I told her I didn’t appreciate the way she shook her head at me and the way I’ve been treated and I felt uncomfortable, so I told her I would not be purchasing. As I’m walking out my daughter is upset so I go back in. I told her I will continue with my purchase she did apologize and I said thank you and that I understand what they were telling me but that I worked for Petsmart and the things I was getting was a temporary situation since I’m in the middle of a move. And that I have all kinds of pet products at home. She says oh ok and the rest of the transaction was pleasant. Had they asked me as the pet parent questions instead in an informative and caring way instead of the Judgy tone like they are just assuming I’m out buying products to shorten the life of my pets or that I don’t care to what they had to say. It would have been a way different uexperience. Just very rude and unprofessional.
