Having lived here for a year, I’m happy my lease is finally over. While the location is nice, that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this apartment complex. Throughout my time here, I submitted multiple noise complaints about my upstairs neighbors, who would constantly stomp around and wake me up as early as 5 a.m. Despite raising these issues, nothing ever changed or improved.
Now the kicker is that after I moved out, I was charged for carpet cleaning after I spent a whole day cleaning it. I have attached the pictures they used to charge me over $100 for carpet cleaning and let you be the judge whether or not this is fair. The billing office circled areas in need of cleaning and sure one of them I can agree with but the others make it seem like they're squeezing additional money. I'm no carpet expert but natural variations in the carpet fibers cause some areas to look darker or lighter right? Oh well.
If you’re considering living here, I strongly recommend exploring other options in the Domain area. Save yourself the hassle—you’ll be glad you did.

"Unsafe Living Conditions – A Disappointing End After 11 Years"
1* Rating!
I lived at Residence at the Domain for over 11 years, "I would give this apartment complex one star due to the severe health and safety issues I encountered during my 11 years living here. The property management allowed numerous problems to escalate unchecked. Even with photographic and video evidence, the management failed to take proper action. I cannot recommend this complex to anyone, as they’ve demonstrated complete disregard for tenant well-being and safety."
What started as a comfortable home ended in unsafe, uninhabitable conditions. Here are the conditions:
1. Serious Health Hazards:
The HVAC system had mold, rust, and silica dust contamination from renovations. These conditions worsened my severe asthma and led to continuous respiratory issues multiple ER visits. Mold spores and silica dust are well-documented health hazards that violate EPA and OSHA air quality standards. Management ignored repeated warnings about the risks.
2. Negligent Repairs:
Instead of addressing the root problems, management provided temporary fixes, such as a window AC unit that stayed in my window from Oct to Dec moveout. While the HVAC remain unsustainable for weeks. This prolonged exposure to unsafe air quality and failed to meet basic building code requirements for heating and cooling. Mold and Water Damage: Persistent water discharges from the HVAC caused structural damage and mold growth, failing to comply with health and building safety standards.
3. Silica Dust exposure:
During, removal of floor tiles. Silica dust from sanding cement floors spread throughout my apartment, coating everything from kitchen appliances to personal belongings, and even infiltrating the air ducts. Silica dust is hazardous, especially for someone like me with severe asthma, and its presence made the apartment entirely uninhabitable.
4. Unfair Treatment of Tenants:
Despite enduring these unsafe conditions, I was unfairly charged prorated fees upon moving out. Management showed no accountability for their failure to provide a habitable environment, which is a tenant’s legal right under Texas law.
5. Impact on Health and Quality of Life:
If you or a loved one have asthma or any respiratory condition, do not live here. The unsafe environment and poor air quality pose severe health risks, especially for those with pre-existing conditions.
“Final Recommendation”:
I encourage prospective tenants to speak with current residents or read reviews thoroughly to understand the ongoing issues at this property. For your health, safety, and peace of mind, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I highly advise against choosing this building. Very filthy. Also they overcharged me when I moved out. My lease expired on the 5th. They charged me full utilities for the entire month and they charged the new tenant the same. When I asked for a detailed bill. They did not provide other than a simple PDF with lump sums. I tirelessly emailed billing to only get the same pdf that does not have amounts broken down. Terrible treatment. Do yourself a favor and find a different place

Would NOT recommend.
Spent Over 2 yrs as a resident, 90% of the time most things are broken- elevator, garage gate, garage doors, fob access, building doors get stuck locked. Overpriced, outdated, oldest complex in the domain. Not worth the “luxury” pricing at all. Management was poor, unresponsive, way less accommodating and responsive after lease is signed. Hundreds of dollars in Illegitimate charges upon move out on supposed “damage” with no justification for what was “damaged” and delayed response from management or billing for weeks. Mediocre building, not the cleanest. No security doorbells are allowed even though residents often experience theft from the door.
Only good thing about the place- the maintenance men are very nice and were reasonably prompt with fixes.

I really like living here. The apt is gorgeous with modern fixtures and overlooks the pool. The rent is really reasonable. And they’ve been attentive when I’ve needed them. Everything is much more organized than where I lived before (Griffis down the street) with packages and whatnot, and the staff is much much nicer. It has all the expected amenities and is right in the middle of the domain. Love the keypad entry across the property. Also the shower pressure is the best of any place I’ve lived in a while. Small detail but important haha. I truly wish I found this place much sooner.

I have called multiple numbers and no one answers, nor does their automated machine work. Please give me a call back and or give me a number I can call to actually speak with someone.
EDIT: they have responded and answered all questions. Great service!

I wouldn't even give this 1 star. such an unprofessional managers and fraud management. they will give you word of mouth at the start but after leasing they wont even respond and in return we have to pay for the unused charges even before for the leasing starts which they wont say at the beginning. they even promised they would take care of it and later they replied they never said that. they will make you believe with number of promises until you are on lease but once you are on the lease, they show their true colors. the managers are the worst and they know nothing. most of the times they will escape and some times they will give some shit reasons. the security is not good, some gates wont even lock which they wont even care. at least try to maintain security and hire new management!!!

Great location but the management is lazy and dumb. They will nickel and dime you to death and make you open a bunch of tickets to fix anything.
And don't believe what Madison it's saying... In the 18 months I lived there they added Mail Locker fees and I always submit ticket in Writing. They just close them w/o resolving the issues.

Lived here for 1 year. Key access always broken, Gates always broken, elevators always broken. Unnecessary fees always attached to the lease. When I moved out I had a pre-move out inspection. I had items totaled at $700 in value stolen from me by the “inspector” Please do not move here if you are wondering. The area is nice, but if you want to experience this. Please choose another complex, this one is not the move.

edit: I understand it takes some time. But being unresponsive is something different. Anyone of you could've replied me with what you just said here and I would be happy about it. Instead, your people decides to just ghost without notice. Unprofessional.
I would definitely give it if there's negative stars.
Does not respond to calls.
Has been ghosted by the "leasing consultant" after paying the application fee and the deposit.
Absolutely horrendous, scammers. When I asked if they could tell me what to do, all they said was they notified my designated leasing consultant to respond, without actually solving the problem. I'm this close to call the cops on these scammers.

I have been living here since April 2022, and my experience keeps getting better and better. I have had a few maintenance issues with my unit, but the maintenance staff is always willing to work with you and help in any way they can.
I recently renewed my lease, and Rae helped me throughout the process - the professionalism, willingness to work with me, and warmth really removes the stress from signing a new lease. I recommend anyone going through a renewal to talk to Rae, I have never had someone work with me so much and be willing to extend my offer after I failed to renew on time. 10/10 recommend! Residences at the Domain should give Rae a raise
