“Goddard has been amazing for our LO. We started with him in the first steps room and then to the toddler class and both have been great. His teachers Ms. Jennifer, Ms. McKayla and Ms. Vida have been great at introducing him to the daycare environment and keeping him entertained throughout the day. The office staff (especially Nour) as well are super good at keeping us informed and assuring us through the difficult period of transitioning to daycare.

“We're new to the area and consider ourselves very lucky to be living next to a school like The Goddard School at Steiner Ranch. Ms. Jen and the staff have organized many events encouraging parents to get to know the school and the staff and see where and how their children spend their day, and this has been really important to us. Ms. Rosy has been truly wonderful. She's not only helped our son integrate into his first classroom and make new friends, but she's also given us great tips on building his social skills and advice on general baby-raising. We also appreciate the detailed weekly curriculum sent to us, the daily rundown of what our son and the other students are learning that day, and the pictures of him in action as he discovers new things. This is great for us, as we can build on that ourselves here at home.”

“As we are closing our chapter at Goddard I wanted to share our experience! My daughter has been with the school for about 2 years. We went to a few other schools and just couldn’t justify the price with the care. At Goddard, my daughter’s vocabulary and articulation came together. She has even enjoyed Math. She’s really enthusiastic about coming to class every day and all of her teachers have been extra attentive and motivating factor in that. She will truly miss her classmates and teachers!”

The teachers and admin staff are warm attentive and friendly and food is provided which is such a big plus for a working mom to not have to worry about sending lunch. Meals provided are healthy and communication between teachers and parents is clear and prompt. We were at a very hyped Montessori school before this and were disappointed with the haphazardness and are much much happier now at primrose.”

“Open Door is someplace special - we are really grateful to have found our village here. The school started over 50 years ago when a family couldn't find one school that would accept both their typically developing child and their child with special needs, and the rest is history.
We LOVE the teachers and admins at Open Door (our #1 reason for choosing this preschool)! They are deeply caring and invested in the kids, and the staff turnover is incredibly low. It's been such a joy to watch our kids grow, develop, and have just fun here. Open Door is also NAEYC accredited, which means they've hit a high standard for early childhood development programs. This is the original location, plus they have 2 other campuses in Austin.”

I was worried about him crying when I leave but he always has a smile for them! He gets to try so many different foods and do fun activities. The director Connie is so kind and communicative. This school has been a lifesaver and a “village” for our family. Being able to keep my job as a new mom would not have been possible without them!”

We were transferring our daughter from a poorly run daycare (not associated with Primrose Schools), and it was such a relief to meet the caring staff and tour the welcoming environment. From day one, she was loved and nurtured by her teachers, and we watched her vocabulary and independence grow tremendously during her time there. We only transferred because a new location opened closer to our home, eliminating a 40-minute commute—otherwise, we would have happily stayed. We highly recommend Primrose of West Lake Hills!”

“My daughter (18 months) started about 3 months ago. She was going to drop in childcare since she was 8 weeks, but I wanted to put her in something more structured. She’s learned so much! Nursery rhymes, numbers, alphabet, animals, and even functional things like sitting at a table and putting on her shoes. Everyone knows each other’s names and I like that she gets some time to be around the infants and bigger kiddos. All she talks about on the weekends is her classmates and teachers. Can’t wait to see what else she learns! :)”

“If you are looking for a Spanish immersion daycare in South Austin, look no further. Both of our children attended EHAT for 5 years each. They became family, and we immediately trusted their family with ours... I'll never forget meeting Monica for the first time. Her warmth for children overflowed. Her sincerity is authentic. Selecting a daycare is unnerving, and she immediately put me at ease. Our children met some of their best friends here. Like-minded fellow parents quickly became our chosen family.
Our children learned Spanish in an encouraging and safe environment. Monica has very high standards in everything she does. From staff to cleaning to curriculum... her joy and love for her students is obvious. EHAT is more than a daycare. Children learn, are encouraged, and grow in education and confidence.
We were there when she navigated through COVID, and she did it with honesty, grace and transparency. We do not have family in this area, and she quickly adopted us all as her own. I will be forever grateful for the time we had at EHAT. I would recommend her daycare to any and all! Thank you EHAT for loving and teaching our children so well.”
